Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

We got Dorgu, Cunha, Mbeumo, Sesko and Lammens under him, that’s why. You can’t solely blame Ten Hag for transfers, and give no credit to Amorim, that’s disingenuous

Challenger You know what, fine. It takes a man to admit when he's wrong. Amorim out was 100% the right call. Carrick in.
Believer First 25/30 mins of that was weirdly reminiscent of an Amorim style first half if I’ve ever seen one. They get an early goal and our heads are completely gone. Suddenly there’s no options for any player of ours on the …
Zirkzee’s touch and movements are good but if he actually kicked the ball with some venom instead of being so nonchalant about it he’d be scoring more.

Challenger Outside the box, dive, and not a clear goal scoring opportunity. Couldn’t have got that decision more wrong if they tried. Fucking farce
Believer Bruno has earned the right to play a shit season before being sold instead of trying to predict his downfall and sell early. He's among the world's elite players right now.
Why? What's wrong with admitting our performances have been trending down for a while now. Have you forgotten our performances Vs West Ham and Everton?

I could see it both ways. Live, thought red card for sure. Replay, looked to me like Henderson gets there first. Penalty 100%, but I saw the card as 50/50 and was actually surprised we got it after seeing the replay.

"Fernandes is a stain on football. Dives at every chance. Whines at every chance. Just fuck off."
Very brave of you to comment this. You could’ve spoken about how he’s playing today but you went all in. +
Unbelievable player on his day but an absolute fucking rat
Just like 90% of the players — if there is contact, it’s a foul. It’s as simple as that. It’s better than fouling at every opportunity and wasting time.
It’s a contact sport, so this is wrong.
Your players are literally fouling at every chance they get. Stain on football lmfao.
They’re not though are they.
Lol and still better than anyone that has ever played for palace +
Olise is better
Goal and assist against your shite team btw
Still a rat
"What happened to contact started outside the box so feekick and not penalty ?"
Different rules for different badges mate
If that’s still the rule and VAR checked it then they need to explain themselves. I don’t know what the rule is.
Manchester FA based refs doing Manchester teams favours…
Continued into the box
Glad Utd won: not a pen. +
Contact continued into the area, if he'd let go of the attacker earlier it may have only been a free kick
@JohnnyMc5no, if the foul continues into the box it’s a penalty. That’s a rule for every single team in the premier league.
@KenMan_23incorrect this is not the rule
@JonClark-nb9sn nope that’s not how it works
@Emptybladderif the contact/foul continues into the box then a penalty is given. If it doesn’t continue into the box it would’ve a yellow card and free kick
"but we got a "lucky win". You guys are idiot. lol."
It wasn't lucky but I say it was a close call. Thankfully we did wake up from 30' and onwards +
We were wasteful but Palace never threatened.
I mean, how much of the xG was after we got the equaliser and red card? I’d bet it’s most of it. We weren’t looking much like scoring prior to that. It’s perfectly possible to dominate a game *after* you’ve initially got a lucky break that completely changed the match. This is why stats don’t show the whole picture. Often teams that win 2-0 and appear to dominate most of the game are roughly equal on xG because the losing team has been going all out for the last 15 to try and score and the winning team has sat back. Same with possession stats.
According to FotMob, we had 0.53 xG before the red card and penalty and the final tally on FotMob was 2.05
I think before the red, the xG was around 0.6-0.7, at the 55th minute mark, which is pretty average. Usually you end up with 1.5-2xG from that point onwards depending on the game state. Our press was poor and the players looked tired which is not good because they are playing 1 game a week. We will always struggle to dominate the game because the midfield doesn't have legs, on top of that we never leave our CBs 1v1 like City, Arsenal or Liverpool because of obvious reasons. We dont have the CBs who can do 2v2s so most teams have an extra man in possession, even when they were down to 10 men, they were able to move the ball due to that reason. This is not a complete team, far from it, but we are doing really well. I am enjoying that part, its been a hard 2.5 years.
so teams getting legit red or us getting legit penalty is getting lucky now? We kept putting pressure after the bad first 30 mins that allowed us to have penalty. Obviously, we did not batter them or thrashed them but lucky win? CP had barely a single decent chance beside their goal.
Of course it’s lucky! We were lucky the defender made a dumb decision. That was in no way guaranteed a goal, it’s denial of a goalscoring *opportunity* not goalscoring certainty. The game swung on a fortunate moment got us.
Surely we can'tcount on getting opponent a red or a penalty every other matches. We're still not convincing to win before they got down to 10 men. CP were not threatening indeed, but we're not looking to score either. Drawing against Palace is a loss for me.
Guys - you need a reality check. We were 15th last season and our previous manager had won twice in a row just once in more than a year. We have won 6 out of last 7 games and unbeaten in 11 games. That is a title winning form no matter how you look at it. We are not going to a team that thrashes opponents week in week out overnight. Hell, no PL team has done that this year. Did you guys watch how City got their win against Leeds yesterday?
I never said unhappy with the win, just pointing that we're in luck that the ref rewarding us that pen. without it, our win is still in doubt. Any other day, usual PL ref won't give that a pen. Don't really care about other teams, doesn't matter. I want my team to be better, bit by bit, grind to the end, if you can't or don' want to be critical, just be spurs fan.
