How these roles work
Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

Arteta's Tactical Genius Behind Dowman's Historic Breakthrough
Emerging Controversial

Eze's Masterclass Performance Divides Fan Attention
Emerging Controversial
Fans are unanimously praising Eze's exceptional display, highlighting his sublime passing, weak-foot finishing, and overall contribution to the match. However, the discussion splits between genuine appreciation for his talent and some oddball distractions—one commenter even gets worked up about him not wearing gloves instead of focusing on his actual play.
Martinelli's Selfless Block Sparks Arsenal Debate
Emerging Controversial
Fans are divided over whether Martinelli deliberately slowed down and positioned himself to shield Dowman from Everton defenders after the goal, with some praising it as an unselfish team play whilst others question whether it was actually tactical or just coincidental positioning.
Referee Decisions Spark Fury Among Fans
Emerging
Premier League fans are absolutely furious over what they're calling blatant refereeing errors and VAR mishaps, with particular anger directed at specific penalty decisions and the management of added time in a recent match. The criticism ranges from accusations of match-fixing to claims of sheer incompetence, with supporters demanding action against the officials involved.
Pickford's Performance Divides Everton Fans
Controversial
Fans are deeply split on goalkeeper Jordan Pickford's display, with some blaming him directly for costly errors and goals conceded, whilst others acknowledge mixed performances across the team. The debate cuts across club loyalties, ranging from criticism of his distribution and decision-making to concerns about his suitability for England's ambitions.
Fans Divided on Attacking Approach and Shot Selection
Supporters are debating whether their team is finally taking enough shots and attacking with intent, though many remain frustrated by sideways passing and a lack of forward movement in build-up play. The negativity stems from disagreement over tactical philosophy—some praise increased shooting from distance, whilst others criticise players for not being brave enough to take risks and progress the ball forward quickly.
Rivals Stumble While Title Race Intensifies
Emerging Controversial
Fans are buzzing about Manchester City and Arsenal both dropping points in the same weekend, sparking heated debate about who will ultimately win the Premier League title and whether slip-ups from the contenders have genuinely shifted the momentum. There's heavy speculation about which team will capitalise on these dropped points, with supporters of competing clubs trading barbs about their rivals' vulnerabilities and championship credentials.
Calafiori's Spectacular Block Wins Over Arsenal Fans
Emerging Controversial
Arsenal supporters are losing their minds over a dramatic defensive clearance from Riccardo Calafiori, with many arguing it exemplifies the mentality and commitment that could help the Gunners win the title this season. The block—described variously as a scorpion kick and an acrobatic leg save—has become the talking point of the match, with fans contrasting Arsenal's defensive intensity favourably against rivals like Liverpool.

Gyokeres Overshadowed Despite Defensive Contribution
Emerging Controversial
Fans are debating a goal scored in the match, with most attention focused on praising the goalscorer's movement and unselfishness, whilst simultaneously taking the mickey out of Gyokeres for his physical struggles during the play—specifically getting out-muscled by a younger player on a corner. The consensus is split between acknowledging Gyokeres' defensive work winning the initial header and criticism that his overall performance, particularly an easy tap-in earlier, doesn't justify his status as a striker.
Havertz Penalty Row Dominates Match Discussion
Emerging
Fans are locked in heated debate over whether a first-half incident involving Kai Havertz should have been awarded as a penalty, with the overwhelming majority convinced it was a clear spot-kick that the referee missed. The contentious call has overshadowed the match narrative entirely, with supporters divided between those demanding an explanation for the non-decision and others questioning whether Havertz exaggerated contact.
Fans Clash Over Controversial Match Incident
Emerging
A divisive moment from a recent match has sparked 320 posts of largely dismissive banter, with supporters either telling each other to move on or questioning whether the whole row is manufactured outrage. The conversation is fragmented and low on substance—mostly people telling each other to "cope" or "calm down"—suggesting fans can't actually agree on what happened or why it matters.
Emerging Young Talent Captivates Fanbase With Breakthrough Moment
Emerging
Fans are celebrating a young player named Max following what appears to be an impressive Premier League performance, with supporters hailing him as a future superstar and expressing confidence that he'll develop into a world-class talent. The overwhelmingly positive reception suggests this was a breakout moment where Max demonstrated the skill, composure, and potential that's convinced the fanbase he belongs at the elite level.

Arsenal Fans Debate Talented Player Placement
Emerging

The conversation also touches on Arsenal's recent achievements and comparisons with rival clubs like Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Young Max Dowman Breaks Two-Decade Record
Emerging
Fans are celebrating emerging talent Max Dowman for smashing a 20-year club record at just 16 years old, with supporters posting enthusiastically about his potential as a future star and expressing optimism about his career trajectory. The discussion captures genuine excitement around a breakthrough youth performance, though the exact nature of the record remains unclear from the posts themselves.
Arsenal Fans Question Saliba's Final Third Decision-Making
Fans are debating whether William Saliba is the right player to be receiving the ball in advanced positions, with most arguing that whilst he occasionally makes good decisions, he too often kills momentum by playing it safe sideways or backwards when the team needs quicker, more decisive actions. The consensus is that midfielders like Declan Rice or Bukayo Saka should be making these plays instead, as Saliba's cautious, deliberate style doesn't match what Arsenal need in those dangerous attacking areas.
Sturridge Divides Opinion on Match Commentary
Emerging Controversial
Fans are sharply divided over pundit Daniel Sturridge's commentary style and presenting ability, with some praising his insights whilst others criticise him as unqualified and irritating, reflecting broader frustration with current broadcast analysis quality. The discussion reveals a disconnect between supporters who'd prefer fresh voices like Sturridge over established pundits, and those who view former players lacking managerial success as unsuitable for media roles.
Raya's Match-Winning Masterclass Divides Opinion
Controversial
Fans are heavily praising David Raya's exceptional goalkeeping display, with many calling him player of the season and crediting him as the difference-maker in Arsenal's victory, though some voiced concerns about his tendency to rush out of goal creating nervous moments. The overall mood is one of frustration mixed with desperate encouragement, but there's no consensus on who or what is actually to blame.
Player Departure Sparks Emotional Fan Divide
Emerging Controversial
Fans are reacting intensely to a player's exit from the club, with some expressing genuine sadness and emotional attachment whilst others mock the tearful response as overblown sentimentality. The mixed reactions reveal a split fanbase—some treating it as a significant loss, others dismissing it as performative drama typical of modern football discourse.
Zubimendi and Rice Partnership Under Fan Scrutiny
Emerging
Arsenal fans are divided on whether Declan Rice and Moisés Zubimendi can play effectively together in midfield, with many arguing that pairing both defensive midfielders stifles creative attacking play. The debate centres on whether dropping one of them would free up Arsenal's attacking potential, though some defend both players and suggest the issue lies in tactical setup rather than individual performance.
Timber's Injury Derails Arsenal's Attacking System
Fans are divided over Timber's role in Arsenal's attack following his injury, with some praising his innovative positioning in advanced spaces whilst others criticise the tactical experiment entirely. The discussion centres on whether his absence exposed a vulnerability in the system or whether his attacking duties as a centre-back were fundamentally flawed to begin with.
VAR's Controversial Missed Ankle Contact Call
Emerging
Fans are locked in debate over whether a defender's contact with an attacker's ankle in the penalty box should have been flagged as a foul, with many arguing VAR and the on-field referee failed to spot clear evidence of a foul despite multiple camera angles. The discussion hinges on whether the officials focused solely on a push (which wasn't a penalty) and completely missed the defender's foot raking or stepping on the attacker's ankle.
Hincapie's Assist Sparks Fan Enthusiasm
Emerging
Fans are lavishing praise on defender Hincapie for a crucial assist using his right foot that led to Gyokeres scoring in what appears to be a significant victory. The discussion reveals growing appreciation for Hincapie's attacking contributions and overall commitment, though some debate persists about whether he or Calafiori should be the preferred left-back option going forward.
Arsenal Robbed of Clear Penalty Again
Fans are furious that a stonewall penalty wasn't awarded to Arsenal during the match, with widespread frustration that the decision contradicts earlier penalty calls given in similar circumstances. The anger is amplified by what many see as a pattern of inconsistent refereeing from PGMOL that consistently goes against Arsenal.
Arsenal's Unconvincing Draw Splits Fan Opinion
Emerging Controversial
Arsenal fans are bitterly divided over whether their 1-1 draw away in the Champions League was a respectable result or evidence of dire, uninspiring football that won't win them the title, with some defending the performance as solid whilst others condemn the display as grim and industrial. The negative mood is compounded by frustration that the Emirates crowd's nervousness is affecting the players, creating a toxic atmosphere that makes it nearly impossible to generate momentum in such uninspired matches.
Cautious Optimism Meets Genuine Championship Belief
Emerging Controversial
Fans are caught between nervous hope and genuine conviction that this could finally be their year, with posts oscillating between defiant confidence ("this is our season") and the anxiety of past disappointments ("the hope that kills you"). "Anyone would think he’d scored a worldy goal 😂"
"That young lad not only changed the match AND the title race in just 16 mins But he also changed the premier league record books (RE the youngest ever goal scorer) so obviously people are going to go mental about him (OBVIOUSLY THE MEDIA) which he deserves. I just hope arteta and the club continue to handle him like they have for the past 2 years. Rain him in, nurture him and keep him playing with the under 23s. Sensibly hand pick the right senior squad league and cup games to include him in"
"People have to remember it’s happening the last 3 seasons were Arsenal are against refs decisions that Man City & Liverpool never had to deal with they got every decision"
"Where’s the haters this week 😂 this is why I love football because Arsenal dropped 1 point a few weeks back & all the bottlers jokes came out everyone was so proud Arsenal dropped some points where are they now city dropped more points"
"Obi mikel will probably be on talksport next week complaining that max dowman cheated because he scored from a corner."
"Where are the anti-Arsenal brigade? No trolling tonight? They're normally out in their droves waiting to pounce on "Set Piece FC", "Own goal FC", "Boring Boring FC" (That one we'll take - it's in our blood🩸). Dowman - what an unbelievable talent and he'll play his part in Arsenal's success in years to come. And a word for our man, our striker, Gyokeres - never doubted you once. The players and die hard fans know your worth. Scored the all important goal and started the move for Max's goal. You sacrifice your personal glory for the sake of the team, through tireless pressing and sheer determination. You defend from the front, take the pressure off and bring out the best in others. If only everyone could see all the work you do in the shadows. Not even a certain Norwegian could replace what you bring to the team. Finally, a salute to Mavropanos at West Ham (Once a gooner, always a gooner). Your goal vs City could be one of the biggest contributors at the most crucial of times in this title race. Should Arsenal secure PL glory, you sir will go down as a true legend. 🫡"
"That goal was more than just this season, it was the future of arsenal"
"Amazing finish to the game. This game is huge a win and one that strengthens our season and gives the team an extra charge for the Premier League 🏆. Buzzing for Max 😄. Homegrown from my city and amazing to see him being brought up well 👏🏽. Let's go to the next game 👏🏽⚽️"

"bro scored a goal in the prem and hes in year 11"
Incredible ❤ +
He will be playing for Real Madrid, Bayern or PSG in 3-4 years
@rlmspursno he won't 😅soooo ssssh prat 😅and where are spurs now oh yea fighting relegation 😅😅
@rlmspurs not for you in the championship 🤣
@rlmspurs you wish 😂
Wayne Rooney regen
@rlmspurshow do you even have the audacity to comment on posts 😂😂😂 you were nowhere to be found couple weeks ago, not a spurs fan in sight. And I was really looking 4-1.
@rlmspurs idrk why ur getting bullied by these arsenal fans rn.all u did was hope the best for Dowman and ur getting clowned.Classic arsenal fans just wait for them to be silenced by may
@rlmspurs they said that with Saliba, Saka and Gabriel
@yes-t7mkeep thinking that 😹😹 +
"Whatever about Dowman’s age, his calmness in scoring that goal was mental. He took the ball 70 yards from goal. He’s a special player."
Behave yourself lad. If he didn't score I'd be shocked. There was literally no goalkeeper in the net, the dribbling he did was just football basics. Most of the Everton players were in the Arsenal box for a corner, including the goalkeeper.
@morganator4874 You right, however you missed out on the enormous pressure in that moment, not many players could handle that pressure.
No mate he passed 2 Everton players on the way - by his skills and calmness +
@morganator4874 There were still 2 everton defenders that he sent to another galaxy
@LtKingz You must have watched a different game to me then mate. He gained momentum by charging out from his own box after the set piece, headed the ball forwards to get past a defender nearly falling over and then the last defender falls over as he cuts inside. He didn't send anyone to another galaxy, it was just shite defending from Everton.
With the crowd going absolutely mental as well
@morganator4874 Cry more "morganator" Making fun of a 16-year-old is crazy, also you proved my point the defender fell as max cut inside that is the definition of sending somebody because the defender had to sharply switch his momentum and he coildnt so he slipped
@morganator4874he took it past 2 defenders with brilliant skill and iq to back inside to avoid the challenge +
@jades5581Mate loads of players could handle that 'pressure'. The guy is a professional footballer in the PL regardless of age. If you've been watching football long enough, you would know loads of players can score that type of goal. Fair enough he had to make the yards up, but he did nothing prior to that goal and people are calling him a special player. I'd expect any player to score that goal. I will say he's got potential though. +
@LtKingzhe's just jealous that he couldn't take the ball past a U14 Sunday league defender
"Martinelli running across the Everton defenders for Dowman to score that really got me."
🥇🥇a superhero in the shadows +
Yep, that's what I thought. Seeing the danger and making the Everton player check his run to relieve the pressure on Dowman. Probably protecting his assist ^^
Ya, i see a team, real team! +
Doesn’t change the fact that he still is a fraud 💀
It was Martinelli's header pass to Dowman
Lol the defender was far away he would never gotten to him either way, he had given up...
Ye these situations it’s actually easy to accidentally be offside.. Martinelli is a chess player he always makes the right decision in these situations ..
Exactly😭
@wirtzera7 In what way? You must be a jealous man!
Luar biasa
"Leaving out Calafiori's block is criminal 😭"
That one is for the short video ❤ +
🥇 possibly the save of the match week alongside mavraponos vs city +
Tag it "Scorpion block by Calafiori"
That Calafiori block was insane, the guy is already down but i wonder how he raises his foot to block that shot
I could do that in my sleep wasn’t that impressive 🥀
Scorpion block 🦂🦂
How can they 😢😢😢adminnnnnnnn

"If I'm Arsenal listening to this bullshit about "playing style" I have just one answer, winning. They play a winning style so take the fucking style points and run along."
You can win however you want, but I think some of the criticism is a bit more valid than that. If Arsenal continue to look poor in attack for large phases of games it will cost them results eventually - that is inevitable. I don't think they have to continue to look poor in attack though, they have the talent to be better than they're currently playing
Fair points. +
Yet arsenal have scored the most goals in the league
Well I don't think that necessarily means I'm wrong but I do agree that Arsenal are the best team in the league by quite a margin still and the other clubs all have bigger problems than them
It has cost Arsenal in a few games, such as the goalless games against Liverpool and Forest but Arsenal rarely concedes more than 0.8xG per game , so if your opponent can’t score then you don’t need that many goals to win a game
Probably the best defensive team in the world, not disputing that at all. Even if nothing improves they will fall over the line in the league because City are miles off it, there's really not much threat. But I think to increase the likelihood win the CL and to reach the level of some other champions of previous years (which doesn't really matter this year but it might in future) there is potential for them to attack better from open play. It's just the chance creation phase that is quite unimpressive, they build up well, they control transitions at an elite level, they press really well, they defend at an elite level, elite at set pieces at both ends, top class individual talent in almost every position so you're going to win plenty of games with that mixture regardless
Yeah I agree with that totally. Arteta needs to find more balance in midfield and better wing play to help chance creation and not need nervy end to games like today. I think PSG/Bayern win UCL this year for that reason +
God forbid people want to actually be entertained when watching their favorite team play lol. The slog is the problem. They have so much attacking talent, yet sit 9 men behind the ball as soon as the other team get the ball.
That was one of the most entertaining and nerve wracking 4 hours in a long time for me and I have been an Arsenal fan for more than 20 years. People need to complain about anything and everything these days. Just enjoy life lol I do understand Liverpool are bad and it sucks for you but you don't need to cry so much. Take a walk. +
Who’s making you watch Arsenal games if we’re so dreadfully boring? I get it if it was an Arsenal fan saying this, but if after 31 league games you’re watching Arsenal games out of your own free will and still bitching about our style of play, then that’s on you buddy
