How these roles work
Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

Don’t know why they bother bringing on Unal basically that’s shutting up shop. 3 goals in 2 games he’s cost. Need to think about playing Rayan up there. The Vasco fans said he’s decent up front as well. Kroupi at the moment seems to be more effective coming on than starting. The final ball is fucking dreadful during normal time. The back is generally not too shabby, Petro has come into his own. They need to stop fucking diving the last few games it’s really crept in. Rant over. UTFC 🍒

Captivating Talking Points
Yeah that’s my European hopes gone I think, drawing too many that we should be winning and we’re just not ready for that next step yet which I fucking hate saying because I said it last year but we were more than good enough.
Thought the first 3 changes were good but Unal again man, if I speak I’m in big trouble.
Alex Scott was the clear standout though, should be going to the World Cup.
Flemming lucky not to be sent off, in replays it looked like he was very intentional in elbowing Senesi with a lot of force. A centimeter or two higher and that would be stonewall violent conduct. Should have been a yellow though.
He'd have Jimenez playing false RCB in a back 3.

@afcbournemouth Rayan must be doin something really bad cause there’s no reason to don’t pass 1 time for him , specially with that feet’s and speed
@afcbournemouth They figured out how to manage kroupi and rayan to no longer attack and score.

@BurnleyOfficial Bournemouth were diabolical. If we were set up properly we’d have won this

@BurnleyOfficial Good Job Boys! You've made history today! You are the first every Burnley squad to go 11 Consecutive Home gives without a win. IN BURNLEYS HISTORY... And this man is still Manager. Crazy.
Burnley under Parker might be the most boring team I've ever watched. Under Dyche they were at least interesting with their "brexit ball" mentality and under Kompany they had a decent attacking style of play. Now they just have zero identity and are unwatchable.
@BurnleyOfficial Thats us at our very best abysmal again Bournemouth worst side to come here in months and we cant score. Anyway club record 11 straight homw games no win peak

Fan Narratives
Manchester United's Frustrating Draw Against Bournemouth
Controversial
Fans are dissecting a goalless stalemate between Manchester United and Bournemouth, with particular focus on Antony's ineffective performance and the underlying xG statistics that suggest both sides created relatively little of genuine quality. The discussion sits between frustration at the lack of clinical finishing and begrudging acceptance that neither side deserved to win based on the chances generated.
Burnley Performance Divides Opinion After Match
Controversial
Fans are locked in debate over who actually played better, with some arguing Burnley dominated despite the result, whilst others contend their own team controlled proceedings and created more chances. The disagreement hinges on whether you watched live or just highlights, with a fair chunk of supporters giving Burnley credit for their effort in a relegation battle.
Goalless Frustration As Defences Dominate
Fans are venting about a dull, scoreless match where neither team has managed to break through, with some sarcastically suggesting penalties for goalless draws whilst others critique the poor finishing and defensive solidity on display. The prevailing mood is one of disappointment and relief that it's not going worse, rather than excitement about what's unfolding on the pitch.
Unal's Finishing Woes Frustrating Supporters
Fans are deeply frustrated with striker Enas Unal's inability to convert chances and his overall contribution to the team, with many questioning why he continues to start when alternatives like Kroupi appear more effective. The broader concern is that the team is dropping points in winnable matches and failing to take the next step competitively, with Unal's poor finishing cited as a key reason for their inability to capitalise on the chances being created.
Divided Reactions to a Forgettable Match Display
Controversial
Fans are torn on a controversial moment from the game, with some finding humour in a particular reaction or incident whilst others criticise the overall quality of play and entertainment value. The general consensus leans toward indifference—most viewers couldn't decide whether the match was worth their time, though a few moments did manage to land a laugh.
Bournemouth's Draw Curse: Unbeaten But Uninspiring
Bournemouth fans are celebrating an extended unbeaten run but expressing deep frustration that an alarming number of draws (14 and counting) is masking a lack of killer instinct in matches they should be winning decisively. The consensus is damning: they're statistically solid defensively, but their inability to finish weaker teams off will cost them any serious European ambitions and likely condemn them to mid-table mediocrity instead.
Foster Under Fire as Parker's Tactics Draw Frustration
Fans are intensely criticising goalkeeper Foster's performance and distribution whilst simultaneously expressing deeper scepticism about manager Scott Parker's overall tactical approach and ability to improve the team. The discussion reveals frustration that substitutions and squad rotation aren't addressing fundamental issues with how the side plays under Parker's management.
Iraola's Tactical Decisions Heavily Scrutinised
Bournemouth fans are questioning manager Andoni Iraola's team selection and tactical setup, particularly his decision to play Rayan on the left wing when they believe he's far more effective on the right, whilst also criticising the underutilisation of attacking players like Jimenez. The discourse suggests frustration with perceived square-peg-round-hole squad management and a sense that the team's attacking play is being compromised by poor positional choices.

Love Brooks but his finishing is dreadful, he just doesn't bring much in terms of output. He's still a decent rotation option though, so worth keeping.

Couldn't hit the fucking broad side of a barn today.
↳
That's like Celtic Wilfried Nancy tier, that's diabolical
↳
Aye but we’d have 8 xG against us
↳
I'm not gonna tell you Wilfried Nancy was good (I don't think he was at all) but tbf the Wilfried Nancy experience, strictly from an xG perspective, was massively winning the xG battle and losing anyway. That match against Rangers that got him sacked was 2.33 to 1.06, 1-3 loss.
↳
I know, but that doesn’t really paint the full picture of the performances. You’d have one good half where we didn’t score followed by an abysmal second half, and horrible subs/changes.
The worrying part was how he was perceived by the players and his press conferences. Just a terrible fit.
↳
He'd have Jimenez playing false RCB in a back 3.

[17 draws in the 38 game era](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_League_records_and_statistics#Draws)
- Newcastle United (2003–04)
- Aston Villa (2006–07, 2011–12)

That being said, this Bournemouth is starting to remind me of Potter's Brighton that got 14, 14, and 15 draws during his three full seasons at the club

Look at the bright side, you got more points at home than we did in 20/21. Parker is slowly improving, surely right

Too many draws - we miss so many chances.
Love Brooks but his finishing is dreadful, he just doesn't bring much in terms of output. He's still a decent rotation option though, so worth keeping.
Unal however, sorry...but he is utterly hopeless outside of briefs moments of magic …

Burnley under Parker might be the most boring team I've ever watched. Under Dyche they were at least interesting with their "brexit ball" mentality and under Kompany they had a decent attacking style of play. Now they just have zero identity and are unwatchable.

We’re on a long unbeaten run but it doesn’t feel that good because of all these draws. Only 3(?) teams have lost fewer PL games than us. But 14 draws is no coincidence - we’re not clinical or ruthlessness enough to finish teams (particularly weaker teams) off. And that’s the thin…

Flemming lucky not to be sent off, in replays it looked like he was very intentional in elbowing Senesi with a lot of force. A centimeter or two higher and that would be stonewall violent conduct. Should have been a yellow though.
