How these roles work
Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

We went on an 11 game run THIS season, beating the league leaders, city and united in the process, but we were found out 18 months ago? Give it a rest man weve lost our 3 best midfielders at the same time and haven't had PSR leeway to continually update our squad. If it werent for Unai where do you think we would be?

Casemiro's Display Sparks Retention Debate
Fans are celebrating Casemiro's solid midfield performance, with many expressing appreciation for his tireless work rate despite visible fatigue. The discussion pivots between admiration for the veteran's continued quality and growing concerns about whether he should stay beyond next season, as some supporters worry about his ability to maintain elite levels at 32.
VAR's Inconsistent Offside Calls Drive Fans Mad
Supporters are absolutely furious with VAR's inconsistent application of offside rules, particularly around what constitutes "involvement in play" and whether players are interfering with the ball. The core complaint is that VAR appears to pick and choose when to penalise marginal decisions, with fans demanding either consistent rule enforcement or a return to accepting human error in real time rather than enduring agonising slow-motion reviews.
Fans Share Reaction GIFs After Amorim Win
Emerging
Supporters are celebrating what appears to be a recent victory under new manager Ruben Amorim by swapping reaction GIFs and clips, with particular focus on memorable moments like Cunha's missed chance and Carrick's touchline expressions. The discussion is lighthearted and meme-focused, capturing the relief and joy of the fanbase following what they're calling their "survival" under the new regime.
Fans Rally Behind Yanited With Pure Passion
Emerging
A flood of raw, celebratory posts shows supporters backing their team with unfiltered enthusiasm—likely reacting to a crucial win or strong performance that's lifted them into contention. The repetitive chanting and exclamation marks suggest a moment of genuine collective joy rather than any tactical debate or grievance.
United's Mixed Form Sparks Cautious Optimism Among Fans
Emerging
Manchester United supporters are torn between genuine hope about their team's potential and frustration at inconsistent performances, with fans praising individual moments of quality whilst simultaneously questioning whether the side can actually sustain a genuine title challenge against City. There's a palpable sense that something's shifting at Old Trafford, but nobody's quite ready to fully commit to believing it yet.
Sesko's Aerial Display Delights United Supporters
Emerging
Manchester United fans are celebrating a standout performance from striker Benjamin Sesko with a viral "Air Sesko" meme, riffing on airline branding to highlight his dominant aerial play during the match. The repeated posts and playful variations suggest he delivered several impressive aerial moments that caught supporters' attention and sparked genuine enthusiasm across social media.
Manchester United Fans Celebrate Crucial Victory
Emerging
United supporters are in buoyant spirits following an impressive win that's lifted the mood around Old Trafford, with fans expressing genuine optimism about the squad's potential moving forward. The positivity is cutting through despite recent disappointments, suggesting this result has genuinely shifted sentiment amongst the fanbase.
Casemiro's Resurgence Has Fans Convinced
Emerging
Manchester United supporters are celebrating Casemiro's return to form under Ruben Amorim's system, with fans recognising his midfield dominance and crediting the new tactical setup for unlocking his best performances. There's genuine anxiety about the prospect of losing him, with the overwhelming consensus being that his experience and control are irreplaceable in United's current setup.
Mainoo's Inconsistency Divides Manchester United Fans
Controversial
Fans are split on Mainoo's performances, with some praising his solidity whilst others criticise his lack of effort and creative impact—pointing to moments where he appears to be coasting rather than competing. The central complaint is that he's safe but passive, avoiding mistakes but failing to influence matches when it matters, raising questions about whether he's got the mentality needed for top-level football.
Missed Transfers, Injuries and Premier League Reality
Emerging Controversial
Fans are frustrated that their club's spending (£170m this season) hasn't delivered sustained success, with injuries to key midfielders and the loss of star players like Kamara and Tillmans left unaddressed due to PSR restrictions. There's resigned acceptance that financial fair play rules entrench inequality, keeping bigger clubs competitive whilst constraining mid-table ambitions, though some relief that they avoided certain signings like Delap.
Fans Celebrate Signing of Genuine Penalty Box Striker
Supporters are expressing relief and excitement about finally acquiring a proper, old-school centre-forward who thrives in the box rather than drifting wide — a player they feel has been missing from the squad for years. The mood is cautiously optimistic, with fans comparing their new signing favourably to previous strikers whilst acknowledging some of his flaws, like occasional greediness in possession.
Maguire Divides Opinion With Inconsistent Display
Controversial
Fans are fundamentally split on Harry Maguire's performance, with some praising his defensive solidity whilst others criticise his possession-handling and decision-making in the final third. The mixed sentiment suggests a classic polarised debate where supporters either view him as a reliable centre-back or as a liability on the ball who slows down play.
Sesko's Athleticism Masks Inconsistent Finishing Display
Emerging Controversial
Fans are divided on Benjamin Sesko's performance, with many praising his physical determination and commitment to hunting the ball—particularly a clever goal involving him jumping over defenders—whilst others criticise his wasteful decision-making and the chances he squandered throughout the match. The consensus suggests he's got the hunger to be a proper striker, but his consistency in front of goal remains a significant concern.
Big Ben's Super Sub Magic Strikes Again
Emerging
Fans are absolutely buzzing about a player nicknamed "Big Ben" delivering another crucial impact performance, likely coming off the bench to score or create a decisive moment. The overwhelming consensus is that he's become the team's most dangerous weapon when introduced as a substitute, with supporters suggesting he's too valuable to waste in the starting XI.
Injury Time Accusations Spark Villa Frustration
Emerging
Fans are divided over whether the referee's eight minutes of added time was justified after a chaotic first half featuring four goals and VAR delays, with some blaming inconsistent officiating whilst others argue the allocation was fair. The underlying grievance reveals a deeper frustration about perceived bias in how injury time is awarded depending on match circumstances.
Spurs Face Liverpool As Fans Dream Of Chaos
Emerging Controversial
Fans are discussing an upcoming Tottenham match against Liverpool with heavy doses of dark humour, joking about Spurs' potential relegation whilst simultaneously acknowledging the pragmatic need for them to win to help their own team's title push. The overwhelming sentiment is one of reluctant acceptance that a Spurs victory serves the greater good, even if the idea of watching them collapse is far more entertaining.
Leon Bailey
Controversial
**Title:** Aston Villa fans turn on Leon Bailey after poor performance **Summary:** Villa supporters are expressing frustration with Leon Bailey's recent form and decision-making, blaming him for def
Mings Handball Fury Overshadows VAR Decisions
Emerging
Fans are furious that a clear handball by Tyrone Mings in the build-up to a goal went completely unreviewed and unpunished by referee Anthony Taylor, with many arguing the incident was deliberately ignored whilst other marginal decisions were scrutinised. The frustration centres on perceived inconsistency in VAR protocol and the sense that some players—and their teams—receive preferential treatment from officials.
Brilliant Midfielder Divides Fans Over Legendary Status
Controversial
Supporters are locked in debate about whether this player is genuinely the best midfielder in the Premier League right now, with some crowning him an all-time great whilst others argue he needs major silverware and more games to justify such lofty comparisons. The tension centres on his exceptional attacking output versus questions about whether his overall game and trophy haul yet match the absolute elite of Premier League history.
Ugarte Divides Opinion With Mixed Performance
Emerging
Fans are sharply divided on midfielder Ugarte's display, with some recognising genuine quality and arguing he functions better in a four-at-the-back system, whilst others remain unconvinced and want him moved on. The consensus is genuinely neutral—there's no clear agreement on whether he's a future asset or a liability that needs replacing.
Fans Celebrate Dominant Display and Clinical Performance
Emerging
Supporters are buzzing about a convincing victory, with the overwhelmingly positive reaction suggesting their team put on an impressive, commanding performance that left little doubt about the outcome. The casual, relieved tone indicates this was a comfortable win—the kind that gets fans excited rather than stressed, though a few cheeky comments hint at some earlier nerves before the team sealed it.

Straight From the Fans
The best fan quotes from this match — the funny, the sharp, the viral. These are ready to use in your video, in subtitles, or as thumbnails.
"I'd love to try Cunha in the mid and move Bruno to the wing. If nothing else then to see if maybe Bruno will make more crosses than Cunha/Mbemo."
"Villa is missing Kamara the most. It's a warning for United to replace Casemiro with a quality defensive anchor"
"To win this match ❤❤"
"Carrick is the best manager for this job. The only other manager I would trust to manage Utd would be Carlo Ancelotti and we could try and bring him after the world cup. But besides that Carrick is perfect because he lets the star players shine. Managers like Pep, Arteta, Nagelsmann don't work. Only managers like Sir Alex, Ancelotti, Zidane work. Compact defense with counter attacking galactico style football is the way to go. Look what happened to Xabi at Real Madrid. Now look at how Arbeloa is simplifying their tactics and making them dangerous. It's also the main reason why France is so good under Deschamps."
"Love to see Sesko scoring. Especially when everyone thought he'd flop. All I'm saying is if he was English, they'd be calling Carrick a moron for not starting him😂 he has not been goalless this year."
"Couple miss placed passes but I thought he was ok wasn’t bad anyway 👍🏻"
"Bruno 16 a 7 goals hes needs 5 more the goat"
"@motionprimeaep yeah Bruno was out of position. At least now we get his best so we can secure champions league"
"United looked fairly comfortable in the end. Very good 3 points."

"So much has changed since these last two teams met. Back then Utd were over 11 points away from Villa who were just 3 points off the top after their victory."
oh how the tables have turned
The main thing that’s changed is how much each team has spent on players and how many injuries another team has 😅
@No1Hulstonyeh your right, we should just quietly appreciate and not celebrate a victory that might just ensure champions league football at the end of the season!!! Whatever………United, United, United. +

"Garnacho out for Cunha in was worth every penny"
I fully agree but they are not like for like players though. We have to sign a couple of LWs because we have 0 width on that side.
I believe in Dorgu supremacy. LW is not a priority imo. CM is with Case leaving. We could do with 2 or even 3 good signings for CM.
I agree a CDM (or even 2 if we sell Ugarte), and a CM are crucial, but we definitely do need at least one LW
Sesko for Hojlund was equally insane. +
Hojlund was a good dood and is getting us a nice £42m bag in the summer, no bricks for him +
TBF to Hojlund, he didn't have Mbeumo, Cunha, Diallo playing with him. He had Antony and Garnacho.
He couldn't finish even when he got a chance, he couldn't hold up the ball, he couldn't pass. He'd repeatedly be in the wrong position. He was more interested in physically fighting defenders and losing than he was anything else. I've never in my life seen a player get treated with such kid gloves as Holijund does. I'm sure he's a lovely fella but he played football like he was getting a chance from Make A Wish.
It's not just about the service though, The way Sesko duels with defenders compared to Hojlund is day and night difference. Hojlund can still become a good player in the future +
His linkup play, his holdup play, his heading, and his passing, were terrible, certainly as compared to Sesko (and even Zirkzee, who is just a lot slower). Not to mention his absolutely horrible balance and strength. He would run in a straight line to chase a high ball, lose the header, fall down. He could have played with Charlton, Scholes, and Beckham behind him, and he still would have done fuck all in this league.
I remember nearly pulling my hair out hearing the ‘but he gets no service/Garnacho always ghosts him’ takes. Nowt about the dozens of chances he hoovers up into nothingness. Man just got into it with every defender and lost possession trying the most basic of hold up plays
"5 to break the prem record "
Imagine it's a married league campaign
He went on like a near ten game span with no assists too 😂. Amorim ball at its best.
Imagine being a manager and CHOOSING to play your best player by a mile out of position. Dude should have been fired for even thinking that out aloud
That man's a terrorist, there's nothing anyone is going to tell me
Not to mention the considerable amount of chances he created that were also not converted.
Rubin laden needs to go into hiding. Absolute football terrorist
Ruben Interim
The kind of terrorism that makes it in the history books
But dont you understand that we need to suffer? He needed to finish 15th, lose the Europa League final, get the whole preseason and he still deserved more time. Bruno is getting assists because of Amorim apparently
Kept losing like a dog to bloody Spurs as well. That kind of fraud is genuinely unheard of
