Executive Summary
Everton supporters are celebrating Kiernan Dewsbury Hall's dramatic 90+1' goal that rescued a 2-2 draw against Brentford, though many are frustrated that he and fellow forward Ndiaye wasted earlier one-on-one chances that could've won the match. How these roles work
Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

"This match by no means deserved to yield one point. xG 2.37 to 1.51. Strip out the penalty it's only 1.58 to 1.51, but that penalty was 100% deserved and denied a probable 0.5 xG shot from Schade. I'm still mad about the KLP non-call. O'Brien got away with a pretty blatant hold from wrapping his arm around KLP's body, with force the ref apparently didn't recognize live and VAR was too cowardly to call a goal back for. I likewise do not understand how their second goal got through there. From the replay it looks like it slipped under a sliding Kayode and through a barely ball-sized gap between Kelleher's legs. If we had done it I'd probably be thrilled about the perfect strike or take no notice at all; because it's gone against us I'm aggrieved at our ill fortune. That's fandom for you."

Captivating Talking Points
People creaming over Thiago when it’s a deflected shot that just simply wrong-foots Pickford. You'd always give the advantage to the home team, and I was under no illusions this would be an easy game, but saying "feels like a loss" is a bit deluded on your part. At no point were we not in this match. I felt it was as competitive as I would expect it to be for two teams on a similar level and si…

That was my reaction to him totally whiffing when trying to clear the ball at the edge of our box. He completely got his feet wrong and fell over. It's like he tackled himself. Got away with it, though.

Much more enjoyable performance but a shame to let in that late one. Unbelievable performances by Thiago and Kayode. One of the best shows from Kelleher, some crazy saves. Fan Narratives
Brentford Fans Divided Over KDH's Late Equaliser Drama
Emerging Controversial
Everton supporters are celebrating Kiernan Dewsbury Hall's dramatic 90+1' goal that rescued a 2-2 draw against Brentford, though many are frustrated that he and fellow forward Ndiaye wasted earlier one-on-one chances that could've won the match. The conversation reveals classic football fan contradiction — genuine appreciation for KDH's crucial intervention mixed with lingering annoyance at his decision-making in open play.
Pickford's Reckless Display Divides Everton Fans
Controversial
Everton supporters are split on Jordan Pickford's performance in the 2-2 draw against Brentford, with some criticising his overly aggressive approach that led to an early penalty, whilst others argue he made crucial saves to keep his side in the match. The broader frustration centres on wasted chances and defensive errors that cost Everton what should have been a comfortable win.
Beto Divides Brentford Fans in Goalless Draw
Controversial
Everton fans and neutrals engaged in surprisingly measured debate about striker Beto's performance during what the match data reveals was actually a dramatic 2-2 draw, with supporters split between backing him as the club's best forward option and questioning whether he should remain a permanent starter. The discussion centred on his finishing quality, physical presence, and potential January transfer interest from rival clubs, rather than focusing on the chaotic final scoreline or individual defensive errors.
Fans Divided on Referee's Controversial Second-Half Performance
Controversial
Brentford and Everton supporters were split on the officiating during their goalless first half, with some praising the referee's early decision-making whilst others grew frustrated with his management of the match after the break. The discussion touched on inconsistency in his control, with one fan suggesting institutional bias against Everton, though others noted appreciation for his willingness to use common sense rather than blindly following VAR protocol.
Everton Fans Debate George's Impact in Draw
Emerging Controversial
Everton supporters are divided on David Moyes's handling of George (likely a loan signing or fringe player), with many arguing he should earn regular starting opportunities after impressing in a cameo during the 2-2 draw with Brentford, whilst others defend the manager's preference for defensive work rate in his team selection.

Controversial
Fans are locked in debate over Igor Thiago's elite finishing and his challenge for the Premier League Golden Boot, whilst simultaneously criticising teammate Schade's creative inconsistency and lack of end product. The discussion reveals tension between recognising Thiago's clinical excellence as a striker and frustration at the supply line failing to maximise his goal-scoring potential.
Brentford Collapse Again as Late Equaliser Frustrates
Brentford fans are furious after throwing away a 2-1 lead in the dying moments against Everton, with widespread criticism directed at the team's inability to hold leads and the coaching staff's substitution decisions in the final stages. The negativity centres on repeated defensive lapses and a pattern of conceding goals when the opposition throws fresh bodies at them, suggesting systematic issues with squad depth and tactical management rather than one-off bad luck.
Brentford and Everton Draw Amid Goalkeeper Heroics
Controversial
Fans across both sides and neutrals are locked in debate over a controversial double save that kept the match alive in the dying moments, with particular praise directed at the shot-stopper's crucial intervention. The neutral sentiment reflects the divisive nature of the moment—some hailing it as world-class, others questioning whether it should have been a different outcome entirely.
Everton Fans Dissect Tactical Flaws in Stalemate
Controversial
Everton supporters spent the match critiquing David Moyes's defensive setup and individual performances, particularly questioning why wingers were being asked to defend deep and why midfielder Idrissa Gueye was roaming too far forward rather than sitting deep to shield the back line. The conversation centred less on match events and more on systemic problems with how the team was structured, suggesting frustration with the tactical approach rather than the 0-0 result itself.
Brentford Fans React to Late Everton Equaliser Drama
Brentford supporters are having a laugh after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's dramatic 90+1' leveller snatched a 2-2 draw from what looked like a Bees victory, with fans sarcastically celebrating what they see as poetic justice against Everton. Everton Drop Lead Again as Moyes Rotation Debate Rages
Emerging

However, there's also optimism about David Moyes' summer recruitment strategy and the squad's potential if they can add a quality striker to challenge next season.
Brentford and Everton Fans Clash Over Controversial Fouls
Fans are locked in heated debate over the referee's inconsistent application of fouls during the 2-2 draw, with particular fury directed at a disputed yellow card that some view as a clear penalty whilst others insist was never a foul at all. The discussion reveals frustration that smaller clubs feel they receive less favourable refereeing decisions compared to the traditional big six sides.
Moyes Criticised for Late Substitutions in Everton Draw
Emerging
Everton fans are frustrated that manager David Moyes made no substitutions until late in the match despite having fresh legs available on the bench, arguing that earlier changes could have prevented Brentford's dramatic 90+1 equaliser and cost them a crucial win. The debate exposes growing concern about Moyes' tactical decision-making and squad rotation, with supporters convinced that proactive substitutions at key moments would have secured three points instead of a disappointing 2-2 draw.
Brentford Fans Dissect Lewis Potter's Controversial Role in Late Everton Goal
Controversial
Brentford supporters are divided on whether Lewis Potter was impeded by Everton defender O'Brien in the build-up to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's dramatic 90+1' equaliser, with some arguing the midfielder was physically outmatched and fouled, whilst others contend Potter theatrically went looking for a penalty that wasn't there. The broader debate reflects frustration over Premier League refereeing inconsistency rather than any unified anger at the outcome itself.

Emerging
Supporters are calling out the match report's misleading headline after Brentford 2-2 Everton ended in a dramatic 90+1 equaliser, not a winner. "Tyrique George."
Yeah, he’s gotta get a start - super dangerous - kid has a ferocious shot
Was gonna post this quick direct and vicious
Today showed one of the reasons I've been quite critical of Moyes since January. Tyrique George is a baller. He's weak defensively but he more than makes up for it in attack. To win games and get up the table, you need to score goals. The moment he came on you could see the shift in the Brentford team - they sat deeper, got a bit more nervous because if George gets space he's getting in behind. That's something we've been badly badly crying out for in loads of games, but Moyes has persisted with McNeil and even shoehorned Armstrong on the wing. George doesn't do a lot defensively but fuck me - just instruct Gana to sit deep and cover him. McCarthy played that role for Miralles and Delo under Martinez. Carlo had Doucoure doing something similar to accomodate James. I don't want my attacking players doing an equal amount of defending. I want them hitting teams on the counter and scoring goals. We've got the lowest number of goals from counter attacks in the league
He's the reason Kayode gets that opportunity to put Brentford ahead today. I don't know if he "more than makes up for it" in attack. Myko isn't the full back to pick up the slack when George is out there,;we would leak goals from the left if the opposition has mobile wings and fullbacks. I love him as a 60-70 minute sub against tired legs.
Ball absolutely explodes off his foot. He reminds me of Good Demarai Gray.
Looked great in the attacking third. He did get toasted by Kayode on that 2nd goal though. +
Yep, he showed in that moment why a conservative manager like Moyes picks McNeill ahead of him. Hopefully he can improve defensively though and get more minutes as he's exciting to watch. +
My god he is RAPID on the ball. No messing about either.
Awesome name +
I love what he brings going forward but I am not at all confident he can defend well enough to play our style of football for 70-90 minutes
"91st minute winner to make it 2-2"
They need sacking
Basically a winning goal in every evertonian heads😂 +
Dewsbury hall 91st minute winner ?? 2-2
@robertocurrlos7470obsessed much
😂😂😂
It shows the might of brentford really when you think about it that a massive team of evertons stature scraping a draw is perceived as a win good on the bees +
When’s the date for the bus parade?
Stop crying 😭
@ness-ee…the shite won’t be doing a parade that’s for sure 😂😢😂🤣..
@gary4937 <- loves to tell us all how illiterate he is 😂
"I get he got skinned for their 2nd but tyrique george is very exciting. 20m ish for a young English winger like that could be proper good business if we buy him That was an absolute must not lose as "
I don't even care that he got skinned. I don't want my wingers back making tackles in the defensive 3rd. Semenyo wasn't tracking back and making loads of tackles at Bournemouth. No decent winger should be expected to be making tackles on the edge of his own box. Moyes needs to start instructing Gana to sit deeper. I don't want him roaming about into the final 3rd. 9/10 he offers very little
There’s the problem though, and why McNeil keeps getting minutes over others. You may not want your wingers back making tackles, but Moyes does.
Is there an option to buy or are you speculating at a £20m bid?
There’s an option to buy, people have plucked 20mio out of thin air. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s 35mio.
Bobble has said multiple times it's a touch over 20m. Likely 22-23.
Option to buy in there for us luckily. The figure isn't announced but bobble said its "financially advantageous for everton" so cant see it being more than the £22m deal fulham had agreed with chelsea. Tiny bit of a guess on £20m but cant see it being far off +
Yeah I think it’s defo worth the fee but there’s a few caveats. We shouldn’t be sacrificing Ndiaye as our left-sided attacker. Does Ili even stay next year? Do we put him behind the striker, drop KDH deeper and phase Gana into playing fewer mins? Everything attack-wise should be built around Ndiaye in his best position. For now though George should be playing over McNeil comfortably.
Get europe and have options in attack and enough games to play them all. If we get grealish he will be starting on the left with ndiaye right most likely anyway
I’m anti-Europe myself unless we recruit heavily. 4 full-backs and a striker have got to be the minimum even just for PL + domestic comps. The extra fixtures and travel of Europe would be a killer imo. Also don’t know if I agree with sacrificing a player like Ili in his prime with big clubs sniffing around for a 30+ year old Grealish, as good as he’s been. Weird position for us to be in, but much better than the last few years for sure!
All the sources saying it'll be a 100m+ window again so I wouldnt be turning down europe, thats literally the goal. Especially with moyes saying we kept getting turned down by players because of no europe. We will definitely (i know, said it before) sign 2 fullbacks at least and are apparently looking for a striker too Fair point on grealish, argument is ndiaye will still play and is still class on the right but I think I prefer him left too.
"What's your thoughts on the game?! Let us know! ⚡"
A 91st minute winner in a 2-2 draw is..... unexpected.
I think you need to rename the video
Haha +
How can a winner in the end lead to a draw Sky Sports, think use need to edit your title for the video
@owenclark6487No, it must remain as this.
What *are* your thoughts on the game. And mine is 'when will the video title be corrected?'
didn’t watch it
It was definitely not a winner?
how drunk are the people writing the titles for your videos? 2-2 is a draw. you can't have a winning goal in a draw. there was another the other day on tnt where it had the palace score as losing 0-3, but they won 3-0. just proof read them. it's your job!
Thanks for making me think our last goal was the winner! +

My brain is still conditioned on "could be a needed point at the end of the season" and then I remember that 47 points is, you know, probably safe. I suppose it could still be a needed point but in a much better and less existential way. Entertaining game, fair result.
