How these roles work
Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

Captivating Talking Points
My commentators were right cunts. Kept going on about how Munoz did nothing wrong, and you play to the whistle, and everybody else would have done the same. When the ball hit him, they went up in arms and talked about bans and fines to the fan as if he had been shot. Fucking idiots.

The best fan quotes from this match — the funny, the sharp, the viral. These are ready to use in your video, in subtitles, or as thumbnails.
"The Liverpool defence when Woodman was injured were awful. Play to the whistle like you were taught at school, don't just stand there with your hand in air as if you're asking to go to the toilet."
"Only Jones would have passed that to Robo! Nice one lad. Robo showing FSG what they are losing. If he goes, he'll be our toughest opponent!"
"Lol Liverpool fans happy to beat palace at the start of the season they were all saying they were gonna win the lot lol, some joke of a fanbase"
"Goals from Isak and Wirtz, It's almost as if they cost 300 million. 🤔🤔"
"Honestly being up in 4th isn't too bad for Liverpool seen as VAR only exists to deny them goals now and their two centre backs have been on strike all year."
"I don't think Munoz could see Woodman rolling on the floor when he had the ball. However you play to the whistle so any complaints should go to the referee for not stopping play."
"Great robbo …..all put in a stretch today ..good win .ynwa"
"Brilliant keeper ❤"

Not sure what's worse. This being a troll or someone who's actually deepthroating billionaires this much.
[removed]
Ah, so it's the deepthroating. Thanks for clarifying
It’s not the 80’s & 90’s. Ticket costs don’t impact transfer funds in a significant way anymore. Not at a club of the level Liverpool is at. The club has DOZENS of revenue streams and is quite well run, we are *clearly* not hurting for the money. Raising these prices has a disproportionate negative effect on the club by pricing out local, grass roots, new and long time fans and altering the make up of what Liverpool Football Club *is*, while doing comparatively little for Liverpool monetarily as a global institution. Our club is not hurting and there are many other avenues that should be fully explored first and **we absolutely should not** be raising prices just because other teams have/just because “we can”. That’s not what LFC is about.
[removed]
Fickle plastics!? Where are you from!? Not Liverpool I’m guessing?? I’m literally defending the locals, lifelong fans who go every week. You’re literally telling these people to walk alone. None of our fans were demanding the outlay last summer. Were we happy? Sure it was nice to see and exciting. You sound downright clueless. Given you’ve got no flair and a 2 month old account; I’m guessing you’re just a butt hurt fan of a club where you need to take out a mortgage just for a Saturday afternoon out. Or - given your use of “hella” and that you’re speaking in $ - an American used to paying a fortune and a half to see your nearest “franchise”. Jog on.
Why do Americans have such shite takes?
They’ve defunded their education system for decades, lack curiosity about anything outside their own country and promote a culture of succeeding by stepping on others and being a classless piece of shit.
Lol.
Americans love the taste of boots.  +
"Fuck Munoz. Fuck Glasner. Fuck Palace. "
Got boo'ed to death Our players should've defended to the whistle, but he's a prick nuff said

That was a cunt move honestly.
Can’t believe that Munoz goal, I’d be ashamed if I was him.
Looking forward to all the Palace fans and supposed "neutrals" who are defending Munoz playing to the whistle when someone does the same against England in the World Cup. They'll be crying for decades over the "cheating / unsportsmanlike foreign scum". Go figure.
Why? Totally in the rules. Our backline just switched off when they should’ve protected the goal.
He should be in highlights forever. Shame on him.
Imagine having to resort to scoring that and still losing
You've got to play to the whistle. Can't be sat there like Fabien Barthez
"Celebration aside, anyone who expects palace to kick the ball off 2-0 down with no whistle blown has got to give their head a wobble or is a biased Liverpool fan. Liverpool deserved the win today, b"
Idk man, I get that it's professional football and it's your job to win, but should we really expect zero sportsmanship whatsoever from these guys? I wish we didn't have to rely on unwritten rules for stuff like this, but generally speaking the expectation is that you kick the ball out of play when the opponent has a player down, because it's seen as unsportsmanlike to benefit from a player being down hurt. But suddenly when the advantage you get is literally a free goal, now it's silly to expect him to factor in sportsmanship? Idk, I would feel bad if my player did it, if I were coaching a kid I would tell them not to do that ever again. I'm more upset with the ref for not stopping the play, but I do think it's poor form from Munoz.
doesn't helped that the player had the ball at his feet. seemed to pause and thought about stopping play, then whacked it in after everyone got baited by him pausing with the ball at his feet
Ah yes, entirely his fault that your entire team got “baited” by him pausing and then playing on when no whistle blown.
I think you're going to find it extremely difficult to defend your player in this instance. He received the ball, took a touch, saw that the keeper was down injured, thought about it for a moment, then decided to score a goal that he 100% knew would be seen as unsportsmanlike, and then celebrated like he scored a worldie. He acted like a cunt, you're gonna need to accept that.
You’ve literally replied to my other comment where I called him a dickhead mate.
Still doesn’t change the fact he’s a cunt for doing so and even bigger of a cunt to celebrate such a goal
I know you lot struggle with the English language but I literally started my comment off by mentioning the celebration.
The fact your first response is attacking a commenter personally (when all he is doing is giving his opinion on Munoz) sort of undermines any credibility you have in the morality department mate.
Mate it’s fucking football, half of the time when speaking to opposing fans is making fun of where their team is from. Hop off reddit and interact with the real world for once ya big softie.
“Celebration aside”. Doesn’t work that way mate.
"I couldn't watch most of the game, but are Liverpool fans really getting on their high horse because Munoz didn't stop an attack while their keeper was injured? Had he stopped at that point I would d"
As a Liverpool fan, bottom line is the ref didn't need to stop the game, Palace didn't need to stop playing, and we shouldn't have stopped playing but we did. You were 2-0 down; anyone in their right mind would do what Munoz done.
TBH if I was a Palace fan and Munoz had stopped I'd have been screaming at him. Yes it would have been very sporting to stop play but he was under no requirement to do so. The Liverpool fans should have directed it towards the ref not the player. Twice the ref blew up when a Palace player went down with a non-head injury, but then he lets play go on when a Liverpool player goes down. It's the inconsistency that's the issue, same as with every ref it seems.
The announcer said Palace did nothing wrong and that it was Liverpool's fault for not defending. But you're always going to find those dumb fans. Big 6 clubs have the most entitled fans in the world. They're incapable of being unbiased.
did you keep listening to the Di Canio story? too young to have seen that I bet but look it up if you can manage YouTube.
The reason why it is remembered was because it is not the norm Reddit craving for 'classines' is nauseating
Be the change you want to see. If the attack happened and Munoz didn’t see the goalie injured on the ground then fair enough. To look up and see the goalkeeper injured in front of you and chip a shot tells all you need about his character. id be embarrassed trying to pretend that you think that’s acceptable behavior.
The attack was already stopped. Munoz stopped with the ball for several seconds. saw the goal keeper was injured and chipped the ball into an open net. keep in mind the game was stopped earlier for a palace player ”injuring” his shoulder. classy fan base. https://preview.redd.it/2nvhu0fz6dxg1.jpeg?width=1206&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2aedc3ac5c68a49aada991c0a266d2c58ff68b25
Far too many keepers go down these days to slow attacks or get their team some respite. For all Munoz knew, he was crying wolf. In moments of uncertainty you look to the ref to make a decision - it’s not up to the players.  Munoz absolutely did the right thing. Play for your team and play to the whistle.
Don’t you find it embarrassing to defend this behavior?
How long is Woodman expected to be out for?

That is still not enough to justify what you said on an injury post. What's wrong with you ?
Do you think Mane would have put up the PL record goal contributions in a season?

These posts were praised by fans, denoting how he was dying to get back on his feet after Gala's injury, like he isn't the kind of man to take a day off or call it a day. He went straight to the gym on the very next day. Not any different from Isak posing in the gym during his recovery.
The crime of having workout photos after a game. Your replies are becoming worse and worse, this is not normal behavior. I'm trying my best to be respectful but you do not deserve it, and you are not worth getting banned over. Congratulations, you gained your little bit of attention at the expense of player's injury.

My commentators were right cunts. Kept going on about how Munoz did nothing wrong, and you play to the whistle, and everybody else would have done the same. When the ball hit him, they went up in arms and talked about bans and fines to the fan as if he had been shot. Fucking…

Low class goal for sure but I’m more ashamed of our not defending to the whistle.

Fuck off. I barely get to watch the games these days cause of my kids, but I had bookmarked our last match day as my last chance to watch him for us and now I'm not gonna be able to? Brutal 😭😭

Holy fuck, insane technique to not just pull that wide of the goal.  A real slapshot of a volley.  Gorgeous goal. Get in Flo, on a throw in from Joe. Macca, sorry I can't rhyme you though.
