How these roles work
Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

Who on Earth is the co-commentator on the world feed? He's just got 3 things wrong in a minute and the one thing he did get right he immediately changed his mind and contradicted himself to be wrong again. Madness.

We got very lucky. We went defensive WAY too soon with predictable results, and if the rule book says that’s Fernandes’ touch isn’t a handball, then the rule book is simply wrong. The good news is that Spurs barely beat a Wolves team that has utterly collapsed in recent weeks…

If Barry isn’t gonna put the effort in as a sub at 1-1 during a European 6 pointer at home to our local rivals, when is he? Can’t be fucked watching him canter about for 90 minutes today. Hope he proves me wrong

What I can't understand is why if it's not an intentional handball, then why is not our corner?! Maybe I didn't catch it in the replay, but did he not handle the ball out of play? If so, then either it's a pen for the handball, or our corner!

I look forward to Moyes seeing absolutely nothing wrong with our output up top that half and making zero changes at half time

Callum Wilson's Late Drama Divides West Ham and Everton Fans
Emerging Controversial
Fans are locked in heated debate over Callum Wilson's 90+2' winner for Newcastle United, with supporters divided between grudging admiration for his clutch finishing and furious frustration at West Ham's defensive collapse in injury time. Emerging Controversial
Everton supporters are unanimously celebrating Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's equaliser and his overall performance, with multiple fans calling him the signing of the season and praising his movement, fitness, and finishing quality. The neutral sentiment reflects standard match day banter rather than controversy — fans are simply gushing over what they see as a genuinely impressive piece of January or recent business.
Fans Debate Barry's Performance in Late Collapse
Emerging
West Ham and Everton supporters are locked in argument over defender Barry's culpability in Callum Wilson's dramatic 90+2 winner, with some blaming his positioning and defensive quality whilst others insist he was left exposed by the system around him. The discussion reveals a fanbase divided on whether the late defeat falls on individual error or collective tactical failure.
Handball Row Overshadows West Ham-Everton Stalemate
Emerging
Fans from both sides are furious that a clear handball by a defender wasn't punished during the match, with many comparing it to controversial incidents like the Rodri decision and calling out broadcasters for failing to properly highlight the VAR error. The non-call has completely dominated post-match discussion, overshadowing what turned out to be a goalless draw on the pitch.
Bowen's Invisible Brilliance Leaves Fans Bewildered
Emerging Controversial
West Ham fans are caught in a peculiar paradox about Jarrod Bowen—acknowledging his consistent output (two assists in this match) whilst simultaneously feeling he's anonymous or underperforming in open play, creating a strange disconnect between what he's actually delivering and how his performance *feels* to watch. The debate hinges on whether his end product masks an otherwise unremarkable display, or whether fans simply expect more from a player of his obvious quality.
Fans Urge Wolves to Finish the Job Against Tottenham
Emerging
West Ham and Everton supporters are pinning their hopes on Wolverhampton Wanderers to deliver a result against Tottenham in an upcoming fixture, with fans expressing frustration that the burden now falls on Wolves to help their own league positions. Everton Fans Frustrated With Manager's Squad Rotation Choices
Everton supporters are criticising their manager's tactical decisions and player selection during the West Ham draw, particularly questioning why promising young talents like Iliman Ndiaye and Merlin Röhl aren't getting sufficient playing time ahead of less effective performers. The discourse centres on squad management, with fans arguing that recent arrivals and academy prospects deserve more opportunities to prove themselves rather than warming the bench.
West Ham United Fans React to Controversial Everton Defeat
Emerging Controversial
West Ham supporters are processing a dramatic 2-1 loss to Everton that saw Callum Wilson score a controversial late winner in stoppage time, with fans expressing frustration and disbelief at the result and officiating decisions throughout the match. West Ham Fans Celebrate Victory Over Tottenham Rivals
Emerging Controversial
West Ham supporters are jubilantly marking a crucial win that opens up a four-point gap over Tottenham in what appears to be a tight battle for league position. The discussion captures the raw emotion of the moment, with fans celebrating the result's significance in their rivalry and their side's prospects with four matches remaining.
Everton Fans Demand McNeil Dropped After Dire Display
Everton supporters have turned on winger Dwight McNeil following a sluggish performance, with fans arguing he should be benched immediately and calling his fitness and output into serious question. The consensus is damning: McNeil's lack of pace and creativity have become a liability, and the team looked noticeably sharper once he was substituted off.
West Ham's Defensive Collapse Hands Newcastle Late Win
Emerging
West Ham supporters are furious after surrendering a winning position in the final moments, with fans blaming abysmal defensive organisation, a non-existent midfield game plan, and a shocking VAR penalty decision that epitomised a performance they believe was entirely undeserved. The overwhelmingly negative mood centres on systemic defensive vulnerabilities and the team's apparent mental fragility following their previous week's disappointment.
West Ham vs Everton Broadcast Issues Frustrate Fans
Fans across multiple regions struggled with streaming and broadcasting access for the match, with Peacock users experiencing technical glitches and UK-based supporters locked out due to regional restrictions. The overwhelming majority of discussion centred on getting the match to work rather than analysing the football itself.
West Ham Fans Criticise Pablo's Inconsistent Forward Play
Emerging
West Ham supporters are divided on striker Pablo's performance in the defeat to Bournemouth, with some defending his work rate despite limited effectiveness, whilst others argue he cannot hold the ball up or create space like the team needs. The discussion reflects broader frustration with the attacking options available as West Ham slip further towards the relegation zone.
West Ham Fans Dream of Spurs Relegation Battle
Emerging
West Ham supporters are fixating on Tottenham's precarious league position whilst their own side fights relegation, with fans joking that they need to match or better every Spurs result to ensure their own survival — effectively willing their rivals down to the Championship. The discussion reveals a dark humour amongst the Hammers faithful, who view Spurs' struggles as darkly comedic whilst simultaneously recognising that their own fate and Tottenham's are now dangerously intertwined.
Souček's Header Haunts West Ham in Dramatic Collapse
Emerging Controversial
West Ham fans are frustrated after conceding a dramatic 2-1 defeat to Everton, with midfielder Tomáš Souček's early header proving decisive as the Hammers surrendered their lead in the dying moments. Supporters are divided between acknowledging Souček's physical commitment and expressing exasperation at their own team's inability to hold on, particularly as Callum Wilson's late winner compounds misery against a striker who has a prolific record against them.
Everton Fans Rage at Biased Commentary in West Ham Draw
Everton supporters are furious with the match commentary, accusing the commentator (widely identified as Tony Gale) of blatant pro-West Ham bias throughout the 2-1 defeat, with fans claiming his analysis and predictions consistently favoured the hosts. The negativity centres entirely on perceived unfair treatment from the broadcast rather than on-pitch refereeing decisions, despite the discussion's stated focus.
Mykolenko Criticised Despite Everton's Defensive Display
Emerging Controversial
Everton supporters are locked in debate over left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko's performance, with some blaming him for positional lapses and poor crossing quality whilst others defend his defensive reliability. The discussion reflects broader frustration with Everton's attacking creativity and concern ahead of their fixture against Manchester City.
Everton Fans Fury as Pickford Costs Them Victory
Everton supporters are fuming with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford's performance, particularly his handling of crosses and set pieces, after he failed to claim a ball that led to Callum Wilson's dramatic 90+2 winner. The negative reaction reflects broader frustration with what fans see as a critical weakness in his game — his tendency to leave the goal and miss crosses — costing Everton three crucial points in their battle for European football.
Everton Fans Analyse Summer Transfer Failures After Stalemate
Emerging
Everton supporters are using a goalless draw with West Ham to air deep frustrations about the club's summer recruitment strategy, which saw over £100 million spent on players they believe have largely underperformed or failed to address the actual squad weaknesses. The overarching complaint is brutal: expensive signings like Barry, Röhl, and Aznou have flopped whilst critical gaps at fullback and striker remain unfixed, leaving the starting eleven barely improved from last season and prompting calls for a complete rethink of the January and next summer windows.
Everton Fans Turn On Barry After West Ham Loss
Emerging Controversial
Everton supporters are heavily criticising Barry's performance during the defeat, with widespread calls for manager David Moyes to substitute him and deploy Tyrique George as a more effective attacking option. The negativity centres on Barry's constant loss of possession and apparent lack of intensity, with fans questioning whether the current setup can avoid a mid-table finish.
Callum Wilson's Late Drama Dominates Neutral Reaction
Fans are fixating on Callum Wilson's stoppage-time winner as the defining moment of West Ham's dramatic 2-1 victory, with discussion centring on his clutch finishing and previous heroics against Spurs rather than referee controversy. The discourse reveals polarised sentiment across supporters despite the neutral classification, ranging from celebration of Wilson's impact to frustration about West Ham's earlier opportunities and overall performance.
West Ham Draw Leaves Fans Frustrated in Relegation Fight
Emerging Controversial
West Ham supporters are expressing frustration and impatience after a goalless draw against Everton, with many arguing the club needed a win to bolster their fight against the drop rather than settling for a point. The discussion reveals tension among fans about the team's approach and desperation in what appears to be a tight relegation battle.
West Ham Fans Frustrated With Tim's Final Ball Decision-Making
West Ham supporters spent the match exasperated with a player nicknamed Tim for repeatedly choosing to pass instead of shooting when presented with clear scoring opportunities, with fans demanding he take shots rather than overcomplicate play. The recurring theme of missed chances and poor decision-making in the final third became a lightning rod for fan frustration during the goalless encounter.
Everton Fans Divided Over Nuno's Defensive Tactics
Emerging Controversial
Everton supporters are bitterly split on manager Nuno Espírito Santo's cautious, defensive approach following the 2-1 defeat to West Ham, with some praising his tactical setup whilst others furiously criticise his stubborn reliance on defensive-minded football when the side clearly struggled to defend effectively.
Controversial Refereeing Mars West Ham's Late Heartbreak
Emerging Controversial
West Ham supporters are fuming over what they perceive as poor refereeing decisions that cost them points in a frustrating 2-1 defeat to Everton, with fans particularly aggrieved that a controversial call denied them what could have been an equaliser. The negativity centres on the officiating overshadowing what was already a disappointing performance, leaving the Hammers feeling robbed despite acknowledging their own uninspired display.
Everton Fans Demand Quicker Substitutions from Moyes
Emerging
Everton supporters are frustrated with manager David Moyes' reluctance to make early tactical changes, with the discussion dominated by demands for faster and more proactive substitutions throughout the match. The fanbase is clearly exasperated that changes aren't arriving until well into the second half, with many questioning the logic of waiting so long when the game isn't developing as planned.
Referee Inconsistency Sparks Debate After Goalless Draw
Fans discussing the West Ham versus Everton stalemate fixated on the referee's yellow card decisions, questioning why certain challenges were penalised whilst others seemed to escape punishment, with particular frustration around James Garner's caution and broader concerns about inconsistency in officiating standards. The neutral sentiment reflects genuine confusion rather than outright anger — supporters recognising the complexity of refereeing but clearly unconvinced the same standards were applied evenly throughout the match.
West Ham Fans Celebrate Late Drama Against Everton
West Ham supporters erupted in euphoria as their side battled to a thrilling comeback finish, with fans posting frenzied reactions to the dramatic late goals that defined this intense encounter. The overwhelmingly positive sentiment reflects genuine excitement about their side's character and fighting spirit, despite the match ultimately ending in a tightly contested affair.
Everton's European Dream Dies After Draw
Emerging
Everton supporters have collectively written off their hopes of qualifying for European football following the stalemate with West Ham, with fans arguing the squad simply isn't good enough to compete at that level anyway. The discussion pivots toward youth development, with calls for academy players like Tyrique George and Janis Matidilayi to get meaningful minutes now that continental ambitions have effectively ended.
West Ham
Emerging Controversial
Fans across the Premier League are expressing unusual solidarity with West Ham's relegation battle, with supporters from rival clubs openly backing them to stay up and celebrating their performances as if they were their own club's results. The discussion reveals how West Ham have become an unexpected symbol of unity in English football, though some dissenting voices question whether their defensive approach would truly benefit the league if they were promoted.
Everton Fans Debate McNeil vs George Selection
Everton supporters are locked in debate about whether young prospect Tyrique George should be starting ahead of Barry McNeil, with fans pointing to George's greater impact when introduced as a substitute. The discussion centres on tactical balance and whether McNeil's selection is costing the side results in a congested fixture schedule.
West Ham Fans Hail Souček's Crucial Display in Victory
West Ham supporters are celebrating Tomáš Souček's commanding midfield performance, crediting the Czech midfielder with both scoring and defensive heroics in the win, though there's also significant praise for attacking contributions from Summerville and the defence's resilience. The fanbase is vocal about wanting to retain key players like Souček and build around the club's core performers this season.
Everton Fans Despair After Dropping Points in European Push
Emerging
Everton supporters are devastated by the draw against West Ham, viewing a single point as catastrophic when the club's stated ambitions centre on securing European football next season. Fans are rapidly pivoting their expectations downwards, resigned to mid-table mediocrity and highlighting the glaring gap between the squad's quality players (Ndiaye, Pickford, Garner) and the rest of a roster they describe as "pub football" standard.
West Ham Fans Savage Nuno After Dramatic Late Loss
Emerging
West Ham supporters are absolutely furious with manager Nuno Espírito Santo following a devastating 2-1 defeat to Everton, blaming his overly defensive, negative tactics and poor substitutions for squandering a lead in a match that could prove crucial in their relegation battle. Multiple fans are adamant that his "park the bus" strategy, which has repeatedly backfired, cost them three points and potentially their Premier League survival.
West Ham and Everton Fans Debate Draw's Relegation Battle Impact
Supporters from both sides are frustrated that a goalless stalemate feels like a missed opportunity in the battle to avoid the drop, with particular criticism of Everton's cautious approach and West Ham's failure to capitalise on their second-half dominance. The consensus is bleak: one point won't be enough to secure safety, and both teams needed three points to keep European ambitions or survival hopes alive.

Hey now, we can all acknowledge that Everton was robbed and still appreciate it's funny because Spurs.
A tale as old as time
Just karmic justice for the probably 15 card-worthy tackles on Summerville that weren't given
Brainwashed by the insanely stupid commentators. If you watch the game on mute you'll see that half of them are tactical falls by Summerville and the rest were not so bad.
Ah yes, yet he flopped and Garner got a yellow. You're so right.
Garner had multiple sequences where he chopped down Summerville, there's really no sense complaining about the one time he did actually get carded
"No chances created, blame Barry. Garner getting booked blame barry, getting beat 1-0 , blame barry.. Tim ire just shot and missed, blame Barry.. anything else ? Ref just booked west ham player blame B"

Lmao and now here you are all grumpy and upset bc I asked if you were gonna sub on for him? Mate get it together😂😂
"We've been shite here and if west ham gets the result fair play. Id love Europe but it's a step too far I think. We just aren't gopd enough. Obviously not over yet. We would have snatched your hand o"
If Moyes isn’t making adjustment while we’re down against a side fighting relegation, do you think he’ll make changes if we’re in Europe getting done the same way? More so do you actually trust this clubs recruiting system to bring in proper pieces for us to even be a threat in Europe?
Yeah exactly.
Cannot say the truth here without getting downvoted but this team needs Europe like a hole in the head. We need some stability and to attract some better players. Champions League can help with that, but not Europa or Conference League. All it will do is add more midweek games to an already low quality squad and massively impact our performance in the league. How about we sign a fucking fullback before we start talking about our European ambitions.
Agreed. Not a popular opinion, and it feels like catch-22. We aren't good enough for Europe, it would run us into the ground. But we need Europe for signings.
To be honest it gives us something to fight and play and the opportunity is there and we should absolutely go for it. But if we cannot beat west ham or get a result in the big games we obviously aren't going to get Europe. +
Small club mentality You can only ever be 'ready' for Europe by getting Europe. You can entice players with a project, but its easier to attract players when you say "we can give you European football"
Last time we got European football was with Roberto Martinez and we went from 5th to being near the relegation zone after Christmas. Look at Newcastle. Look at Forest. You need to lay groundwork and have a squad that can cope with that many games.
Last time we got Europe was 2017, under Koeman. Only reason THAT was as bad as it was was signing a thousand CAMs in the same window
I forgot about that because we were out at the first time of asking. Hardly helps your argument.
I think we should attract talented youth players by enticing them with seat warming duties +
"Callum Wilson "
And Potato salad man. Ppl with actual iron balls
Scored two incredibly important goals for us. I think the one today could break Spurs - they won and are still in the relegation zone with 4 very hard fixtures ahead of them. +
Solanke and Simmons also went off injured so it came at a big cost the win.
Not to tempt fate but I can see Spurs losing their remaining games.
Callum Wilson
He’s done Spurs twice now!
Those goals he scored against us for Bournemouth are completely forgotten now 😂
It's my birthday today 🎁 four in the morning and I feel like I've had the best present I could ask for. +
tears in my eyes
Great, but Diouf and Bowen deserve so much credit +
"Heart sank so deep when we went back to 18th. Thank fuck for Wilson and fuck Wolves"
Don't blame Wolves for being what they are. They gave Spurs a few scares but just don't have enough this season. I'm just grateful we survived Spurs' "gimme" game.
Although they got the three points, it's come in about as bad a way as possible for spurs. Really unconvincing against the worst team in the league and picked up more injuries in the process
Well we have survived the weekend where Spurs had their "gimme" game. Is Simons finished for the season now? Heard from the livechat on my page it looked a bit rough.. +
Everything I've seen said Simons is finished this season but it's early days to say that. His reaction says it's over but he'd have that reaction if you brought him a cup of tea
Oh blimey. Solanke and Simons?
And bissouma I think
I don't think Bissouma is necessarily a big loss for them but their depth is almost as bad as ours! More injuries then they can afford.
I know mate, just taking the piss. No hate for Wolves
I have hate for Wolves.
No I know. You're fine. It's frustrating that they couldn't keep them out. Joao Palhinha of all players! Unfortunately they're out of steam now and were nowhere near prepared enough for the season.

What I can't understand is why if it's not an intentional handball, then why is not our corner?! Maybe I didn't catch it in the replay, but did he not handle the ball out of play? If so, then either it's a pen for the handball, or our corner!
