How these roles work
Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

They need to start punishing this sort of thing. I am hoping nothing serious happened because when Sesko landed and hit the board the camera man had already panned away and there was a loud thud. Sesko seems to be alright but this is actually dangerous play and absolutely no attempt to win the ball. Should be a yellow card and foul.

What is even the point of building around Slot this summer?
Players will stay unfit, midfielders will do to their thing of just passing the ball back and forth for the sake of possession, no runners off ball whatsoever …

What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon. If you needed reminding why the Manchester United-Liverpool rivalry is still the biggest in English football, today’s clash at Old Trafford delivered in spades. A frantic, end-to-end battle …
I am in no way defending slot here but it is beyond disingenuous to suggest that slot has consistently had that all season.

Manchester United 3-2 Liverpool: Drama at Old Trafford as United Seal Champions League Return
What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon. If you needed reminding why the Manchester United-Liverpool rivalry is still the biggest in English football, today’s clash at Old Trafford delivered in spades. A frantic, end-to-end battle …
You're arguing with yourself and being disingenuous, man. You're assuming that slot needs to win the league each year to remain retained. In actuality, he has to show that the team hasn't regressed, that he can adapt to the league adapting to his tactics, and actually have his team play positive football v negative, which they and he did last seaso…
I know that it is easier to blame Slot and he deserves that don't get me wrong but I think we should point a finger to Macca and Wirtz. They just are not up to the speed of the game this season. Something I think that could be mention as a positive in addition to Dom's performance is the past couple of games (including this one) by Curtis. One of f…
@markgoldbridge Daniel Sturridge 😃😃
What a knobhead.
There's a finger nail touch of the ball for Sesko goal.
Maybe the 🤡 ought to do VAR because they saw nothing wrong.
Dunno what to tell you. Go back and re-watch it. Neville literally didn't stop heaping praise on United and slagging Liverpool off.
You're just wrong on this, sorry.
Probably the fact we were passing through the midfield all first half but having no one to actually shoot. I go the game mate I don't live it online.
we've gotten the transfer all wrong haven't we? Wirtz looks promising but other than that....
and now we have to pray daddy henry gives us more money to fix this which is... unlikley
◆ Algo-Amplified — Boosted Without Substance
Any Liverpool fan crying about the hand wanna acknowledge the fact that if Sesko didn’t score he should have gotten a pen. Pretty stonewall watching a replay right now
Macca's actually gonna play the full 90....
After being involved in all 3 goals we conceded
Macca should be a bench player next year or if he has lost the spark sold. Too many of these weak clearances.
I’m seeing no tactics from Slot. We just play well from minutes 10-20 in both halves. And by playing well I mean just some decent passes and pressing. It’s really bad right now. And also, I feel his tactics are cowardly. He can play Wirtz as 10 with Rio on the left. Just play Szobo wherever, drop Macca for Jones. But he won’t take the risk and gets…
we need to move on from macca tbh. He's either giving the ball away or making a shite clearance. Hes not athletic enough to defend, his passing has completely gone so its hard playing him further up the pitch.
We don't concede that if Macca clears the ball properly. He looks beyond washed.
Jesus Macca, these players gotta stop freezing their motion forwards and waiting for contact to fall over. Diabolical stuff.
Lol of course now they show an angle that shows Sesko did actually touch the ball with his hand
Why did VAR not have/show this footage? The angles they showed initially weren’t clear enough to overturn but the angle they just showed makes it clear as day.
Don’t think any of us could say we expected anything else? Macca is shite and basically playing with 10 men, 3rd choice keeper.
Szobo works his arse off to get the ball back, macca runs over and fouls mainoo in 2 seconds. Sums up our midfield this season
◆ Broke Through — Quality That Beat the Algorithm
Carra blaming Jota's death for Liverpool form pisses me off. Its disingenuous to keep using his tragic death as an excuse for their poor form.
Definitely the worst match Macca played in a Liverpool shirt. Seriously what is wrong with him this season?
Neville tried his hardest to will the red card into existence. What the fuck is wrong with him?
"Did konate perhaps push sesko there?" says croatian commentator as we're watching 4k replay of konate pushing sesko in the back, fucking hell man
PGMOL now zooming into Sesko in live game for his 2nd goal handball. First time I see VAR zoom in animation "with magnifier".
Yet nothing on Konate

"OT was buzzing, I'm still buzzing, in the pub with my mates, we will be buzzing all night lol Some of us like Carrick (me included), some don't want him to get the job, and some can't make their mind up. We don't hate each other for having different opinions, we all love the club, we all have been going to games since we were kids, opinions are just opinions, and at the end of the day, our opinions won't change what the club does! If they did then the Glazers would have gone a long time ago. So we just celebrate our wins when they come and enjoy ourselves ❤❤❤❤❤"
"I dont think it will be a bad decision. This is differnt from Oles time. Yes they should interview others but definitely he should be in contention"
"Mark why you get upset with the win? Let us enjoy the win. You are loosing your credibility"
"Lammens first real mistake this season. He has been brilliant for us. Amad? What's happened to him? He's actually making Garnacho look good this season! But we got the job done and we've beaten that lot up the road, so happy days. 👊"
"Good win 3 points. Kobbie is man of match"
"Mark even Pep can’t play possession football with this midfield and team. Till we get signings this is how you play with what you got. You can’t change significantly when you can’t replace players."
"It’s been a horrific season! But thanks to Carrick who you hate so much we saved the season"
"Mark, we don't know, Carrick might be the right man, problem is, we have Broke BILLIONAIRE'S, he will not get the players he needs, in fast enough,. To make us a possession based team. That might be he's undoing,....🔰🇿🇦"
"Has Bruno got an assist?"
"I'm thrilled with Heaven, and he has a solid future as a starter, but I'm so sick of idiots throwing shade on Martinez. He's clearly a class apart. The only problem is injuries."

Let's be real, a breath of wind keeps Bruno down for over a minute. He was milking it hoping VAR would save his ass. In doing so he _deliberately left his team exposed_ for ages.
↳
Were you born stupid or did you get stupid as grew up
↳
Well I never chose to follow United, so I can't be as stupid as you.
↳
Doesn’t answer the question but good attempt at a come back
↳
There was no genuine question to answer, you were trying and failing to be insulting.
Everyone knows Fernandes is well known for simulation and often play acts injured when he isn't to try and con referees. For you to try and pretend that isn't the case makes _you_ look stupid, not me.
↳
Would be easier to form an opinion if sky showed a single replay? I actually don't think sky said one positive thing about united on the commentary all game.
↳
... Are you kidding? Gary Neville was right there acting like they were prime Barcelona for the entire first half. Even Carragher was giving them their dues.
↳
You have to be fucking joking. It was all about Liverpool. Liverpools name was said maybe 5 times as much as united.
↳
Dunno what to tell you. Go back and re-watch it. Neville literally didn't stop heaping praise on United and slagging Liverpool off.
You're just wrong on this, sorry.
↳
I'd invite you to do the same. You're wrong.
"if Arne leaves via mutual decision and or by sacking, he will leave with at least a shred of dignity. Won a title, 4th or whatever we finish this season. Fine.
Don’t let a mistake become a catastroph"
"if Arne leaves via mutual decision and or by sacking, he will leave with at least a shred of dignity. Won a title, 4th or whatever we finish this season. Fine.
Don’t let a mistake become a catastroph"
As if slot who has big ego will step down
I genuinely don’t think a large amount of fans understand the implications this window has on Liverpools future. We’re gonna be off the back of one of our worst seasons in history while losing club legends with another likely going next season. It’s so fucking important the board get every single decision as close to right as possible in the summer and that starts with the manager. If you keep him, we’ll see a lot more players like Jones, Ali, Ibou all walk and be left stranded needing another 8 or 9 signings to even field a competent 11
↳
Worst season in history but currently 4th are you serious 😂😂😂
↳
Yeah I'm Slot Out but it's an absurd take. The Woy season alone... but I do think the conceit is fair that with the money she spent we should have been in a title race. and if we stick with this manager we won't be challenging
↳
Look at the stats my man. By the end of this season it’ll be the most losses suffered, first time United have done the double over us in 14 years, longest losing streak, most home defeats, most times conceded 3 goals, most goals conceded after 90th min. League position doesn’t tell the full story
If Hughes doesn't go, it won't make a difference. Arne has proven he can win the league when given a top squad.
Richard Hughes (and Michael Edwards) can't be allowed to dictate another transfer window or they'll spend another 450mil on players who can't run or pass a ball straight. Having a more exciting tactical setup isn't gonna fix that.
↳
> That Slot is not to blame?
We'll I didn't say that, so
↳
Lmfao. Look at what you typed. 'arne has proven he can win the league when given a top squad'. How can one not take that as you blaming the squad and not the coach?
↳
You could've taken it as Slots not solely to blame and the failings of the players arent going to be solved by replacing the coach, despite the fact that Slot has got things wrong and made mistakes as well but you chose not to, because you wanted to argue with a point, so you projected that point onto me so you'd have a target for your anger.
↳
Incredibly ironic for you to assume my intent here.
Nope - no point was projected onto anyone - you just worded yourself incredibly poorly. Take a breath there bud and look inwards.
If you really expected me to assume all that from what you actually typed then Im not sure what to say xD sorry I cant explore the annals of your brain the same way you think you can with mine
"My worst gripe with the referee is not stopping Liverpool from playing there goal while Bruno was down. I understand you don't stop active play for anything other than a head injury, however, play wa"
"My worst gripe with the referee is not stopping Liverpool from playing there goal while Bruno was down. I understand you don't stop active play for anything other than a head injury, however, play wa"
Bruno is a known diver. The game should never stop with him on the floor. reap what you sow.
↳
Frimpong stepped on Shaw then laid there until the ref stopped the game for him. Game was already stopped all the ref had to do was check. Very different.
↳
Hey bud - nothing I said was wrong but the fact you didn’t debate my point speaks volumes.
↳
Not about whether you think a player goes down easy, it's about the ref being fair. Player was down, ball was stopped, he had an obligation to check on the player before restarting play, but he didn't and it heavily favored one team.
↳
The ref was fair. Bruno going down is an irrelevant event and should never impact a game because he’s a known diver. Reap what you sow.
↳
Bias much? Player down, ball out of play, referee should check on any player...
↳
Bias? What bias?
↳
You claimed the ref shouldn't check because Bruno dives, that is bais
↳
What bias? I spoke the truth. show me one instance where he went down and was actually injured
bias would be to say “don’t stop the game because he’s ugly”
↳
pretty sure the proof of claim ("known diver") is upon you kid
"If that was ruled out against us, you'd be fuming. It wasn't clear and obvious "
"If that was ruled out against us, you'd be fuming. It wasn't clear and obvious "
The first replay at the goal, it was not clear and obvious, and then 10 mins later some producer found better video, that made it obvious. Another match another VAR mistake.
The danish commentators was like: "im sure it hit his fingers, but its really hard to see". And on the 10min they was like: "i can't believe VAR did'ten see it the first time, its so clear now"
You can clearly see it change the trajectory of the ball. You can't score a goal with your hand. There's no misinterpretation to be had here. A fucking useless as we were that was a shocking decision.
I thought handballs didn't have to be clear and obvious anymore
It was pretty clear and obvious when slowed down. A pretty basic feature of replay that was conveniently used at the wrong angle.
It 100% was clear and obvious, it touched his finger which changes the trajectory of the ball.
Doesn't matter how much of your hand it hits, ot if it hits a body part first, it you're handling it into the net its disallowed every single time.
Its a factual decision so not sure what you are on about
R/agedlikemilk
↳
Did it?
↳
See the other posts
The rule is if any handball occurs leading to the ball going in it has to be ruled out, the only question is if it touched, the later replay shows it does.
We don’t deserve it mind, but that later replay rubs salt in the wound.
"I fear the worst if we give slot another season. "
"I fear the worst if we give slot another season. "
They'll give him another chance then finally sack him before Christmas, and we will have missed out on Xabi as his replacement.
There's no indication it's going to get any better either. Everything on the pitch screams complacency. Slot has these elite players playing like they're scared and checked out. The levels have dropped considerably in this second season. It's astonishing.
Slot and Gapko
Slot wont get another season. He’ll get 2 months max and we would have lost out on Alonso and Iraola and we’ll end up with Howe
Let’s not forget Hughes and Edwards. Wouldn’t trust them to restock my fridge, let alone rebuild this team. Sack them all.
Food for thought. Lets boycott every game until baldy is sacked
Anfield will be the most toxic it’s been since arguably the hodgson era. How a liverpool manager can stay after being boo’d off by the kop multiple time is beyond me. Hughes, edwards need the sack just as much as slot. Teo egomaniacs who thought Klopps success was due to them and now trying to repeat it with a manager who’s not even 1/100th as good as jurgen
I have a bad news for you
Its a "when" not "if" anymore
We have seen the same story before with Rodgers. Unfortunately, I don't think Alonso will stick around till October to take over.
I think it'll just leave a lot of us numb. Nothing to look forward to with that guy in the dugout.

11 losses and counting. And there’s another season of this to come. Don’t know where I’ll find the courage.

Appreciate the previous years immensely, but Macca should absolutely be finished at this club. He legitmately contributed to all 3 of Uniteds goals today, horrific performance within a horrific season from him

Champions League sealed over the dead carcass of our pettiest rivals. Feels so good to beat them that we had to do ot twice.
Thank you so much Carrick for turning around this torturous season. Never in our wildest dreams we could have foreseen such a positive impact from this ap…

if Arne leaves via mutual decision and or by sacking, he will leave with at least a shred of dignity. Won a title, 4th or whatever we finish this season. Fine.
Don’t let a mistake become a catastrophe by giving him a summer window

Slot *has* to go at the end of the season due to the entirety of our play throughout it - nothing to do with this recent injury crisis or United doing the double against us ever since Klopp’s debut season (inheriting a significantly worse squad and without a preseason, mind).

Dominate possession. 0 shots on target. Endless horseshoe passing. Caught on the counter aga…. Ah why fucking bother. It’s the same comment every time.

I've just realized that even in his worst season Rodgers managed to get 62 points, with arguably a much worse squad.
Very good chance Slot won't get that this season.

The rat and his posse go another season trophyless. All while having the least games without european football. And they still couldnt spank us after thinking they would and taking a gifted 2-0 lead.

I hope nobody is going to dare to blame injuries for this crap. This XI is more than good enough to not get carved open like that on every United attack. It’s simply down to the manager’s ineptitude. End of.

BACK THIS MAN WITH ANOTHER 500M THIS SUMMER.
Sure, he's lost to almost every coach in the PL, including a bunch of interims, but it's not his fault. Just like it's not his fault the Strait of Hormuz is closed.
YNWA back the team no matter what YNWA.
