How these roles work
Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

People like to say why are we settling for 1-0 why dont we push for 2 and Arteta is literally saying here you never know with a 1 goal lead so its not for lack of trying we just need to get our players clicking better. If Saka can find Gyokorez more often this attack can be deadly.

Captivating Talking Points
In what way? The starting XI passed with purpose, they worked angles brilliantly, they constantly switched play, played it long, played it over the top, they found good angles. Havertz is not sharp in the box yet but he looks much better. They worked to create multiple chances inside the box, scored a corner, Trossard nearly scored a rocket, Havertz should've scored. The memories of these ex-footballers is so biased and inaccurate. I remember many seasons Utd would just scrape 1-0 win after 1-0 win under Ferguson. Neville was still around at that time. Incredible how they conveniently forget all this when they become the critiques of TV and it gives them a chance to laud their history over the present day. It's frankly nauseating.

Controversial
Arsenal supporters are describing severe stress and nervous tension throughout the match against Burnley, with many claiming the team's narrow 1-0 win has left them emotionally drained rather than celebratory. Fans are expressing relief at the result but struggling to enjoy it, with several questioning why supporting the club causes such physical and mental strain.
Mosquera's Shaky Display Divides Fan Opinion
Emerging Controversial
Fans debated Burnley defender Mosquera's performance, with most praising his solid first hour before his concentration wavered in the closing stages, including occasional theatrical diving and wayward passing that frustrated observers. Arsenal's Controversial Yellow Card Decision Sparks Outrage
Emerging
Over 800 fans are divided on whether Kai Havertz's 67th-minute yellow card should have been a red, with many accusing referees of showing favouritism to Arsenal in the title race and pointing to inconsistent punishment compared to identical challenges given as red cards against other top-six players. Emerging
After a nervy final stretch against bottom-club Burnley, Arsenal supporters are using cheeky banter about clenched buttocks and tension to describe the anxiety of watching their title-chasing side labour to a 1-0 win. The largely neutral discussion reflects how unconvincing the performance felt despite getting the three points.
Burnley's Flemming Condemned for Reckless Play
Emerging
Arsenal and neutral fans are furious with Zian Flemming's aggressive, confrontational display against Arsenal, with many arguing the Burnley midfielder should have been sent off earlier for dangerous challenges rather than picking up a late yellow card in stoppage time. There's widespread concern he deliberately targeted David Raya and frustration that the referee failed to adequately punish his repeated fouling throughout the match.
Added Time Row as Arsenal Hold Out Against Burnley
Emerging
Fans are furious over the referee's decision to add seven minutes of stoppage time in what they view as a heavily skewed decision, with several claiming the extended duration appeared designed to favour Arsenal or was simply incompetent timekeeping. Arsenal Fans Debate Gyökeres Rotation After Narrow Victory
Emerging

The incident also reignites broader frustration about Martinelli's underperformance this season, with supporters pointing to his lack of goal contributions despite being given opportunities in the match.
Arsenal's Toothless Second Half After Early Havertz Goal
Emerging Controversial
Arsenal supporters are frustrated that their team dominated the first half and took the lead through Kai Havertz's header, only to completely shut down their attacking threat after the break and nearly throw away the win against struggling Burnley. Havertz Goal Sparks Awards Debate Among Fans
Emerging Controversial

Emerging
Following Arsenal's narrow 1-0 win against bottom-placed Burnley, supporters are engaged in a dismissive discussion about refereeing decisions, with fans largely mocking complaints about the official's performance rather than substantively debating specific incidents. Emerging
Arsenal fans are having a laugh about defender Piero Hincapié's shorts coming down during the match against Burnley, with the incident becoming the dominant talking point rather than the football itself. Arsenal Fans Divided Over Arteta's Cautious Tactics
Emerging
Arsenal supporters are sharply split on Mikel Arteta's management as the club edges closer to the title, with some backing his pragmatic approach against Burnley whilst others criticise him for playing it safe and failing to push for bigger wins when it matters most. The debate centres on whether his defensive setup shows tactical intelligence or a bottling mentality that could cost Arsenal the league in the final stretch.
Fans Blast Neville's Arsenal Commentary as Biased
Emerging
Arsenal supporters are frustrated with Gary Neville's critical analysis of the Gunners during their pivotal season run-in, accusing him of harping on tactical issues and refusing to acknowledge how close Arteta's side are to winning the league and Champions League. Many point to his failed managerial spell at Valencia as undermining his credibility to lecture one of Europe's most successful sides.

Emerging
Fans are heavily criticising the referee's performance and decision-making throughout the match, with particular frustration over card distribution and perceived inconsistencies in how he managed the game between Arsenal and Burnley. The disagreement reveals deeper frustration about inconsistent disciplinary standards and what constitutes a dangerous tackle in modern football.
Arsenal Escape Burnley With Fortunate Victory
Emerging Controversial

Arsenal's Needless Difficulty in Burnley Stalemate
Emerging
Arsenal fans are venting frustration at how hard their side made what should have been a straightforward victory, with Kai Havertz's lone goal requiring far more defensive anxiety and tension than the quality gap between first and nineteenth place ought to demand. Arsenal Fans Desperately Want Second Goal
Emerging
Arsenal supporters are anxiously begging for a second goal in the closing stages against Burnley after Kai Havertz's 37th-minute opener, with some framing it as crucial to securing the result and others pleading for any addition to the 1-0 scoreline before the final whistle.

Emerging
After grinding out a narrow 1-0 victory against relegation-battling Burnley, Arsenal supporters and neutrals are divided on whether the Gunners can handle PSG, with many suggesting the performance exposed serious weaknesses ahead of that fixture. Arsenal Fans Anxious Over Raya Injury Scare
Emerging
Arsenal supporters are hailing goalkeeper David Raya as their player of the season after a dominant performance against Burnley, but mounting concern is overshadowing the clean sheet as fans worry about a potential injury he sustained during the match. The discussion reveals Raya's exceptional individual contribution to Arsenal's title push, though the overriding sentiment centres on hopes he recovers fully for the run-in.
Arsenal's Set Piece Dominance Sparks Fan Mockery
Fans are relentlessly ribbing Arsenal for scoring yet another goal from a set piece, with Kai Havertz's header in the 37th minute becoming the focal point for jokes about the club's over-reliance on dead-ball situations rather than open play. The overwhelmingly sarcastic reaction highlights how predictable Arsenal's attacking method has become to supporters and rivals alike.
Arsenal's Controversial Dive Goes Unpunished

Emerging
Supporters are furious about what they perceive as inconsistent and biased officiating throughout the season, with numerous posts claiming referees favour established clubs and have made questionable decisions that have cost teams points. Arsenal Fans React to Stalemate with Silent GIFs
Emerging
Arsenal supporters have largely communicated their reaction to the goalless draw against Burnley through reaction GIFs rather than text commentary, with one post calling for midfielder Otto Odey to make an impact in the remaining fixtures as the title race intensifies. The neutral sentiment reflects frustration at dropped points despite dominating a bottom-half opponent.
Havertz Escapes Red Card as VAR Scrutiny Debate Rages

The broader frustration centres on perceived bias in VAR application, with Arsenal supporters noting the contrasting treatment their players receive compared to sides like Manchester United.
Havertz Goal Masks Frustration Over Team Selection
Emerging
Arsenal fans are divided after Kai Havertz's 37th-minute header secured a 1-0 win, with many arguing his overall performance was underwhelming and questioning why Viktor Gyökeres wasn't selected as a starter for such a crucial fixture late in the season. The debate highlights fan frustration that whilst the goal secured three points, it masked what they perceived as a lacklustre display that left points on the table.
Fans Fixate On Players' Haircuts During Match
Emerging
Arsenal and Burnley supporters have abandoned analysing the tactical events of the match to critique the hairstyles of various players on the pitch, with particular attention drawn to the appearances of Burnley's Zian Flemming and Arsenal's Álex Merino. The discussion veers from observations about hair density to unflattering comparisons with 1980s fashion and anatomical objects, suggesting the match itself has provided little to engage supporters' footballing commentary.
Havertz Rescues Arsenal But Divides Opinion Sharply
Emerging
Arsenal supporters are locked in fierce disagreement over whether Kai Havertz's crucial opening goal against Burnley outweighs a string of poor performances and near-costly errors during the match. While some credit Arteta for securing the win ahead of pivotal clashes with Crystal Palace and PSG, others argue Havertz's inconsistency poses a genuine threat to the club's title and Champions League ambitions, with fans questioning whether he should even be starting in such high-stakes fixtures.

Emerging
Fans are discussing a stray camera shot that captured an unintended moment in the background during the Arsenal versus Burnley match, with supporters debating whether it should have been replayed on broadcast and criticising the production standards for allowing it on air. Emerging
Fans are celebrating Arsenal's narrow 1-0 victory over struggling Burnley, with Kai Havertz's first-half header proving decisive in a match that stayed tightly contested throughout. Emerging
Fans are locked in fierce disagreement over whether Arsenal have benefited from lenient refereeing decisions this season, with some arguing the Gunners have escaped red cards that would've been given to other clubs, whilst others defend the consistency of officiating in specific incidents. The broader complaint centres on whether Arsenal's title challenge has been aided by inconsistent application of the rules across the league.

Fans are fixated on Arsenal's historical tendency to collapse under pressure, with numerous posts joking that the Gunners could still "bottle" their title challenge despite sitting top of the league with matches remaining. Arsenal Fans Eye Bournemouth to Upset Manchester City
Emerging Controversial
Arsenal supporters are discussing whether Bournemouth can pull off an upset against Manchester City in their upcoming fixture, with some hopeful the Cherries can either win or draw to keep the title race alive, whilst others are sceptical City will be stopped. Burnley Fans Demand Flemming Substitution as Frustration Mounts
Emerging
Burnley supporters are clamouring for manager Mike Jackson to take Zian Flemming off the pitch, frustrated by the midfielder's performance and disciplinary record — he picks up a yellow card late on whilst appearing gassed and out of sorts. Emerging Controversial
Arsenal secured a narrow 1-0 victory over relegation-battling Burnley thanks to Kai Havertz's 37th-minute header, but the result has sparked heated debate amongst fans about controversial refereeing decisions throughout the season. Supporters are divided between those crediting Arsenal's dominance and others arguing the referee has systematically favoured the Gunners, with particular frustration over alleged fouls that went unpunished.
Arsenal Fans Defend 1-0 Win Against Critics
Arsenal supporters are defending their narrow victory over Burnley and dismissing rival fans' negativity, with heated exchanges about what constitutes "real" support and accusations of plastic fandom from opposing teams. The discussion centres on Arsenal's title credentials despite a grinding performance, with fans trading barbs about empty stadiums, referee decisions, and the legitimacy of criticism.
Kyle Walker's Surprising Pace Still on Display
Emerging
Fans debated whether Kyle Walker, now at Burnley, retained enough pace to keep up with Arsenal's Martinelli during their clash, with most acknowledging the veteran defender's continuing athleticism despite his age. The discussion centred on whether Walker's speed or Martinelli's ball control was the decisive factor in that particular moment, reflecting broader admiration for Walker's enduring physical capabilities.
Arsenal's Title Wait Sparks Squad Overhaul Debate
Emerging Controversial
Arsenal supporters are grappling with a narrow 1-0 victory over Burnley that keeps them top of the league, but many are questioning whether their scrapy, defensive approach is sustainable or whether the squad needs significant investment to compete consistently. The discussion splits between those celebrating the title push and those frustrated that Arsenal's exciting talent is being strangled by overly cautious tactics, with comparisons drawn to Manchester City's similarly narrow wins and concerns that poor performances could cost them on goal difference.
Arsenal Fans Celebrate Title Push with Burnley Win
Arsenal supporters are revelling in their victory over bottom-side Burnley as they edge closer to claiming the Premier League title, with fans expressing relief and determination that their consistent performances throughout the season are finally paying off. The neutral sentiment reflects a mix of celebration tempered by acknowledgment that the job isn't done yet, with some fans dismissing suggestions that fortune has played a role in their success.
Arsenal's Dreary Draw Frustrates Supporters
Emerging Controversial
Fans have reacted with widespread disappointment to Arsenal's goalless performance against bottom-placed Burnley, with harsh criticism of the attacking play and overall entertainment value on display. The negativity suggests that despite the Gunners' league-leading position, this particular display has left supporters unconvinced by what they witnessed.
Kai Havertz Decisive Header Sparks Arsenal Celebration
Arsenal supporters are lauding Kai Havertz's 37th-minute goal — a clinical header that proved decisive in a narrow victory over Burnley — with fans backing the German forward as a statement signing who delivers in crucial moments. The discussion doubles down on Havertz as a title-winning asset for Mikel Arteta's side, with some supporters playfully invoking the "Waka Waka" meme to mock Manchester City's expensive signings falling short by comparison.
Arsenal Edge Past Burnley in Title Push
Emerging
Kai Havertz's first-half header secured a narrow 1-0 victory for Arsenal against struggling Burnley as the Gunners move closer to the Premier League title with just one match remaining. International supporters are rallying behind Arsenal's push for the championship, emphasising the need to finish the job and not slip up in the final game, whilst some discuss midfield depth concerns with Martin Ødegaard's recent injury affecting the team's creativity.
Burnley Fans Frustrated by Halftime Management Decisions
Burnley supporters are criticising Mike Jackson's halftime approach and tactical passivity, questioning why the manager isn't making bold substitutions or adjusting the team's risk-taking after falling behind to Kai Havertz's opener. The posts suggest fans want more aggressive intervention and clearer tactical instructions rather than what they perceive as a demoralising team talk from their boss.
Arsenal's Stress Test — Fan Hearts Cannot Take It
Emerging
Fans are expressing genuine physical anxiety about Arsenal's nail-biting display, with supporters joking about elevated heart rates, blood pressure spikes, and the sheer emotional toll of watching their side scrape out a result against relegation-battling Burnley. The stress is partly comedic but underscores real frustration that a team leading the title race still manages to make matches unnecessarily tense and exhausting.
Arsenal Scrape Past Burnley in Drab Affair
Emerging
Kai Havertz's 37th-minute header secured a narrow 1-0 victory for Arsenal against relegation-battling Burnley, but the performance was far from convincing — with fans expressing mixed reactions ranging from relief to frustration at the lack of attacking intensity. The match was marred by multiple yellow cards late on, and the largely one-dimensional display left supporters underwhelmed despite the three points extending Arsenal's lead at the top.
Arsenal Title Race Hinges on Palace Distraction Factor
Emerging
Arsenal supporters are debating whether Crystal Palace's imminent European final will weaken them for their upcoming league fixture, with discussion split between confidence in Arsenal's ability to capitalise and concern that any dropped points could matter if Manchester City win their game in hand. The broader narrative centres on whether Arsenal can clinch the title through their own performances or will be reliant on City slipping up.

"Please just end it tomorrow Bournemouth."
Fucked that i am actually gonna wake up at 4:30am to watch Bournemouth play tomorrow morning.
better not bottle it on the last game. it will hurt the most.
Rayan is going to WC and is prove why tomorrow
Yeah, he's a real danger man and can definitely help Bournemoth score.
I so hope you’re right my friend +
All we need is a draw really.
Goal difference is a bit tight.
Goal difference doesn’t matter if City drop points tomorrow. We’re ahead.
If they win v Bournmouth and we draw v Palace it gets important and unpleasant.
… if Bournemouth get a draw, then the league is over and the final match is meaningless. We win.

They won two leagues before Guardiola lol
They'll still be a strong team but no one talks about Mancini and Pellegrini in the same breath as Pep for a reason.
> They won two leagues before Guardiola lol Those league titles shouldnt count. None of them should
Pre 2016 City, which is still good.  +
Na they going back to the burst on the scene Micah richards era
I think people write off enzo too quickly lol
Pep’s leaving cuz he knows they’re either getting a super long transfer ban or a points deduction
"If Bournemouth don't do it tomorrow, I have no idea how I'm physically and emotionally surviving Crystal Palace."
They get £10m to lose. Would be foolish to win
Im taking monday off to drink a bottle of jim b before the game. It should take the edge off
Not the best club to support with hypertension😭
I just won't watch. My heart almost stopped a couple of times tonight. Give Raya and Gabi a raise
Yeh they go into that game at home, with no cares in the world, practicing for a European cup final. It’s gonna be nerves vs confidence
Can't draw now either.
Nothing about this season has been easy... So I'm fully expecting them to bring it to the last day unfortunately
Watch Glasner put out his finals XI like he did the last time. Fucking hell.
Of course, he will to keep them sharp, but he'll probably start taking off important players in the second half.
Same but now imagine being on holiday with your Manchester City supporting father during the final day 😭
"Hincapie cheeks being the highlight of the second half is all you need to know about this game. Would’ve preferred a relaxed win for my heart but just glad we got it over the line. One win or a Cit"
it was honeslty pretty relaxed win. they had one break away and that was about it. at no point did burnley create a "chance".
Eze was disappointing. I think we’re all desperate for him to show up when it matters, but he did literally nothing today at best and at worst, was sloppy. With today’s starting lineup, he’s clearly in there to be the spark, but was really ineffective. Thankfully Ødegaard was playing like a man possessed to somewhat make up for it.
It showed proper bottom to win this game.
> highlight of the second half That was the Havertz tackle. +
Idk how anyone was nervous today. This Burnley team are such garbage, we were never under any threat. 0 shots on target, 0 big chances, 38% possession.
My wife walked in right as that replay happened and saw his cheeks and I promise you she has never been more interested in a soccer game in her life. +
Can’t blame her tbh

"i pray bournemouth win or draw tomorrow befause wtf was that performance"
Dirtiest, park the bus draw is all we need.
We created plenty, hit the post and the bar, could've had 2 pens. Just one of those days. What matters is we got it over the line. +
We have one of these days too many. There is a mentality issue when we are up 1-0
It's been 22 years.. What mentality are you building off? This isn't some title we can pretend we are real madrid for, we are essentially winning it for the first time. We are not Celtic going through the motions of winning their 103rd title. Just win
I don't get what you are seeing. We were 1-0 up and burnely literally did fuck all lol. They were content just to keep defending while 1-0 down.
Some massive confirmation bias going on in this thread where people really wanted to blame us for not scoring 5 goals. We had one goal, one clear pen not given (if we do that to an opposing striker it's a penalty, touch on the ball or not), multiple balls that hit the bar. I am not worried about this performance at all. Havertz wasn't sharp in front of goal but he needed this match to shake off some rust and he got one in the back of the net.
I agree, the pressure of the moment makes you think it's tighter or harder than it is. In reality you watch that back and realize burnley actually just gave us the 1-0 on a platter. We probably shoulda scored more but it was an easy affair if not for the stakes of the situation.
When we’re only winning 1-0, the risk is huge. What if burnley lucked their way to a goal in the 80’? We also didn’t attack enough. We had 1.03 xG
I mean we were amazing in the first half. Very different game if we put away our chances +
For the sake of our lifespans, I really hope they finish City off tomorrow +

Always. He’s an animal. I have no problem with Bruno winning the player of the year, but it’s infuriating to have ManU and other clubs slag off how critical Rice is to our success this season.
