How these roles work
Blamed (Causer)
Fans named this player as the direct cause of a negative outcome. Examples: "Maguire gave away the penalty", "Ten Hag's formation cost us". Scores are amplified when the causer is blamed clearly.
Sympathy (Victim)
This player was on the receiving end of something — a foul, a bad decision, being dropped, or let down by teammates. Fans feel for them rather than against them.
Credit (Beneficiary)
Fans gave this player clear credit for a positive outcome — a goal, an assist, a key moment. Includes players who enabled something good to happen. This is the co-winner of a match moment.

One of the few players who looks like he gives a shit out on the pitch. Which right now is a quality better than any stat line can show and the only kind of players that will keep us up.
Made two major mistakes, head clearly wasn’t in the right space to continue - hope he’s okay.
But in truth, two of the goals can be blamed on the wrong footwear - Kinsky slipped on the first one and VdV on the second and half the players have been slipping across the pitch the entire half.

Can't imagine the lads' social media feed is gonna be much kinder tonight. I really feel for him and I hope he recovers from this. He's clearly talented but this was rough.

@AlasdairGold Kinsky is a good example of what's wrong with Spurs recruitment. Yes we spent $$$, but mostly young talents not ready for the PL. Starting 11 injured and we're cooked. Yang, Vuscovic, Bergvall, Gray, Souza, Wilson, Mason Melia. Board paying the price now for trying to be cheap.
Made two major mistakes, head clearly wasn’t in the right space to continue - hope he’s okay.

@cwhunt0 @AlasdairGold Its hard to believe some of them believe whether right or wrong are going to sign for some of the giant European and English clubs.
@SpursOfficial Joke club getting what the owners deserve. Hope we lose by 10 and play the under 21s for the return leg. Tudor is a gamble gone wrong. Make the change before Forest game or we are down.
@UntoTheeItrust @SpursOfficial I was telling my mate Atletico are gonna win 10-0 on aggregate, I was joking then but fuck me they might actually do it 💀
@smit96938229 @AGCeltic__ @SpursOfficial Incorrect. And you tweet (and presumably speak) like you have a disability
No but if you had watched other games kinsky played in, he was shaky and made a lot of errors. Now I think he is a talent but isn’t a starting gk right now.
Honestly watch the highlights of him when vicarious was injured last season, had some alright games at the start, then fell off dramatically

Fan Narratives
Spurs Fans React to Unlikely Comeback Bid
Tottenham supporters are having a mixed reaction to their team's comeback attempt in a match where they'd been well behind, with some offering cautious optimism whilst others remain sceptical about whether such a turnaround is genuinely possible. The discussion is split between those finding relief in the effort and those taking the piss out of Spurs' ability to pull off a proper comeback, using dark humour to mask the usual heartbreak.
Mixed Reactions to Player Performance Incident
Fans are having a bit of a laugh about what looks like a dodgy moment in a match—possibly a handball or contact issue—with some absolute banter flying about regarding Sarr's overall quality as a player. The discussion is mostly light-hearted piss-taking, though there's genuine frustration bubbling underneath about certain players not meeting expectations.
Spurs Fans React to Late Consolation Goals
Tottenham supporters are expressing frustration that their side has scored too late in the match to make any real difference to the result, with the defeat already looking beyond recovery by the time they got on the board. There's a palpable sense of resignation running through the discussion—fans acknowledging the goals don't matter when you're already getting hammered, and some even having a laugh at the manager's expense about how poorly things have gone.
Spurs Fans Demand Igor Tudor's Sacking Immediately
Tottenham supporters are absolutely fuming with interim manager Igor Tudor, with the overwhelming consensus being that he's tactically clueless and making things worse rather than better—particularly calling out dodgy team selection, bizarre defensive formations, and a shocking defensive record that's got folks genuinely worried about relegation. There's barely a voice defending him, with fans united in wanting him out as soon as possible.
Kinsky's Nightmare Display Sparks Furious Fan Backlash
Spurs fans are absolutely fuming with goalkeeper Kinsky's terrible performance, with many admitting they were wrong to back his selection whilst also criticising manager Tudor for the handling of the situation and lack of support shown to the struggling young keeper. There's a broader frustration about the club's management decisions damaging not just the current season but potentially the future development of their players.
Spurs Fans Divided Over Manager's Future
The fanbase is split right down the middle on whether the manager should be sacked, with some calling for his immediate removal—particularly after tactical decisions like benching the top striker—whilst others are urging patience and arguing he deserves time to turn things around. It's classic Spurs chaos, honestly, with 220 posts of pure frustration and debate about whether the gaffer's the problem or if the players need to take responsibility.
Spurs Fans Descend Into Complete Chaos Online
What started as discussion about Tottenham's performance has completely devolved into absolute nonsense, with fans just taking the piss out of each other with tired insults and juvenile banter rather than actually talking about football. Honestly, there's barely a coherent point about the team's actual performance in sight—it's just chaos.
Spurs Fans React to Another Disappointing Performance
Tottenham supporters have taken to social media to mock their side's latest display, with nearly 200 posts largely consisting of laughing emojis and expressions of disbelief at what they've witnessed. The overwhelmingly negative reaction—despite the technically neutral sentiment score—reveals genuine frustration amongst the fanbase, who seem to be resorting to dark humour rather than constructive criticism at this point.
Tottenham Fans Despair Over Relegation Form
Spurs supporters are absolutely fuming about the club's dire performances, with many calling for immediate managerial changes and some grimly joking that relegation is inevitable if things don't turn around fast. The frustration is palpable—fans are genuinely questioning whether the club is capable of competing at Premier League level and demanding urgent action from the board before it's too late.
Spurs' Cautious Post Sparks Fan Banter
Controversial
Fans are having a laugh at Tottenham's deliberately understated social media post—notably missing an exclamation mark—with supporters joking that the club's muted tone reflects mixed feelings about another uninspiring performance. The discussion sits right in the middle ground, with some praising the display whilst others are taking the mickey out of what they see as typically underwhelming Spurs fare.
Young Keeper's Disastrous Display Sparks Sympathy and Criticism
Fans are divided between feeling sympathy for a young goalkeeper who had a absolutely shocker of a performance—getting caught way out of position and conceding multiple goals in what could be a career-defining moment—and recognising that he's simply not good enough for a top-four challenging side. There's frustration that the manager chose this particular match to trial him, which has now likely cost the lad any chance at redemption and left fans questioning both his technical ability and the tactical decisions that put him in this position.
Fans Reach Breaking Point Over Dire Performance
Controversial
Supporters are absolutely gutted with their team's dreadful form and have hit a point of complete emotional exhaustion where they've moved beyond anger into resigned despair. The negativity is palpable across the board—fans are questioning whether things will ever improve and some have literally checked out mentally, describing a bizarre sense of calm acceptance that comes from having your expectations shattered so thoroughly.
Spurs Fans Demand Answers Over Manager Decisions
Supporters are absolutely fuming with Tottenham's current performance and direction, with particular criticism aimed at the manager's apparent lack of commitment to the club's ambitions. There's genuine frustration across the fanbase about what the team is actually fighting for and whether those in charge even care about getting results.
Mixed Reactions to Heavy Defeat and Pitch Conditions
Emerging
Controversial
Fans are analysing a heavy 5-2 loss with split opinions — some finding positives in the team's fighting spirit and blaming external factors like a poor pitch and dodgy refereeing decisions, whilst others worry the performance masked deeper defensive problems and that the opposition eased off once they'd gone up by three goals. There's genuine frustration mixed with cautious hope that missing players and the manager's early tenure might yet turn things around.
Spurs' Boot Choice Blamed for Pitch Struggles
Fans are absolutely fuming about Tottenham's decision to wear the wrong studs for the match at Atlético Madrid's notoriously slippery Metropolitano pitch, with players slipping all over the place whilst Atlético's lads seemed to have no trouble. There's genuine debate about whether it was just poor equipment choices by Spurs' staff or if Atlético had deliberately watered certain areas, but either way, the consensus is that Spurs got done over tactically and physically on the night.
Spurs Fans Blast Team Performance Shamefully
Tottenham supporters are absolutely fuming with the team's display, with dozens calling out the club for a deeply embarrassing performance that's left fans demanding better standards. Despite one bright spot with a goal on the scoresheet, the overwhelming consensus is that this was a shameful showing that the club should be ashamed of.
Spurs Fans React to Big Match Scoreline
Supporters are absolutely buzzing about a massive goal-fest involving Tottenham, with some fans celebrating their own team's dominance whilst others are pleading for Spurs to either pull goals back or concede more, depending on which side they're backing. It's clear there's been an absolute demolition job of a match happening, and folks are just having a laugh about the chaotic scoreline unfolding in real time.
Spurs' Champions League Exit Against Atletico Madrid
Controversial
Tottenham fans are having a right go at their side following a disappointing loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, with supporters absolutely fuming at the performance and questioning how a supposedly stronger team managed to get done by Atletico, whilst also slating the defence for self-inflicted mistakes. There's a fair bit of banter flying about regarding Spurs' recent form being so poor they might as well be in the Championship, with some reckoning the match was always going to be a difficult ask away from home.
Fans Turn on Tudor Over Defensive Tactics and Selections
Supporters are absolutely fuming with manager Tudor's tactical setup and team selection decisions, with many calling for him to be sacked immediately as results deteriorate. There's genuine despair about the club's prospects both under him and potentially after, given fears the board would make an equally poor managerial appointment if he gets the boot.
Spurs Fans Call for Club's Social Media Silence
Frustrated Tottenham supporters are venting their anger at the club's recent poor performances by telling the official account to stop posting altogether, with many suggesting the team's form is so dire that even celebrating goals feels pointless. There's a running joke that even the social media admin has given up, with fans criticising the lack of effort in posts and some genuinely wanting radio silence rather than watching their struggling side be promoted on Twitter.
Spurs Fans Fuming Over Goalkeeper's Disastrous Performance
Tottenham supporters are absolutely livid about their goalkeeper's shocking display, with fans calling out a half-time substitution that saw the keeper yanked off after just 15 minutes of what appears to be a Champions League knockout tie. The consensus is brutal—supporters are laying into both the player's performance and the manager's decision-making, with some questioning whether fielding an inexperienced keeper in such a crucial match was irresponsible, whilst others are desperately calling for better coaching and defensive organisation across the board.
Player Quality Blamed Amid Management Chaos
Emerging
Fans are absolutely fuming about the squad's performances, with most arguing that even sacking the manager won't fix things because the actual players are simply not good enough and need to take accountability. There's chaos all round—dodgy managerial appointments, poor recruitment decisions, and what feels like a club in complete freefall—but the consensus is that you can't blame your way out of this one when your lads are making schoolboy errors and concussing each other whilst getting battered 5-2.
Spurs Fans Divided Over Comeback Hopes
Tottenham supporters are debating whether a comeback is genuinely on the cards, with some urging the lads on with optimistic chants whilst others are taking the piss, suggesting the club shouldn't get fans' hopes up given their track record. It's the usual mixed bag of Spurs fan sentiment—half believing, half bracing for inevitable disappointment.
Spurs Fans Erupt Over Disgraceful Performance
Tottenham supporters are absolutely seething after what they're describing as a pathetic, embarrassing display that's wasted months of goodwill and positive momentum. The fanbase is calling the club rotten to its core, with 93 posts of pure vitriol directed at the players and organisation for failing to deliver when it mattered.
Spurs Fans Demand Mass Exodus and Ownership Change
Frustrated Tottenham supporters are calling for the club to sell virtually every player and, more pointedly, for the ownership to step aside, with fans blaming the Lewis family's stewardship for the team's disastrous performance this season. The tone is absolutely brutal—fans reckon the club's fallen so far they'd be better off binning the lot and starting fresh rather than persisting with the current setup.
Tottenham Fans Demand Wholesale Changes After Poor Display
Spurs supporters are absolutely fuming with the team's performance and are calling for a complete overhaul of the club's hierarchy, management, and playing squad. Fans are hurling abuse at everyone from the board to individual players, with some sarcastically suggesting they could manage the team better themselves, though there's clearly genuine frustration rather than constructive criticism on display here.
Spurs Fans React to Mixed European Performance
Tottenham supporters are expressing a mix of frustration and resignation following what appears to be a disappointing European result, with fans taking aim at the team's inconsistent performances and joking about potential upcoming defeats against rival sides. The overall tone suggests a fanbase that's seen enough false hope to be cynical about the club's chances going forward, though there's still that underlying passion you'd expect from any supporter.
Tottenham Fans React to Vicario's Early Dismissal
Fans from across the globe are having a right laugh at Spurs after keeper Guglielmo Vicario got sent off just 16 minutes into a match, with reactions ranging from absolute mockery to disbelief at the early red card. The neutral sentiment reflects a mix of humour and criticism, with supporters questioning the decision and the club's misfortune.
Regret Over Sacking Ange Pochettino
Fans are now seriously questioning whether sacking Ange was a massive mistake, with many reckoning the squad has gone to pieces since he left and suggesting the real problem was a lack of board backing rather than the manager himself. There's a broader frustration that the club keeps turning on managers instead of actually supporting them properly, leaving the team in a right state.
Spurs Fans In Despair Over Season Collapse
Tottenham supporters are absolutely furious and have essentially given up on the season, with fans declaring the team finished and calling for drastic action to end what they see as a disastrous campaign. The overall mood is one of complete defeat and resignation, with 76 posts capturing widespread frustration that the side never really got going in the first place.
Tottenham Fans Demand Complete Overhaul Amid Chaos
Spurs supporters are absolutely fuming about a disastrous season they're describing as potentially the worst in the club's modern history, with widespread anger directed at the board and ownership for prioritising revenue from the new stadium and NFL games over actual football performance. Fans are calling for wholesale changes across players, management and ownership, whilst expressing deep frustration at what they see as gaslighting from the club's leadership and a complete disconnect between the board's priorities and what the club's heritage demands.
Spurs Fans Turn on ENIC Over Club Direction
Tottenham supporters are absolutely fuming with the ownership, blaming ENIC for the club's dire situation and arguing they're more interested in profits than actually investing properly to compete. There's a real sense of despair that the board won't back the manager adequately, and fans are demanding they get out before it's too late.
Spurs Fans Demand Refunds Over Abysmal Performance
Furious Tottenham supporters, particularly season ticket holders who've forked out premium prices, are absolutely fuming about a shambolic display and demanding the club reimburse fans who travelled to watch what they're calling dross and a complete disgrace. The anger centres on the club charging some of the highest ticket prices in football whilst failing to deliver any sort of performance worth paying for.
Spurs Fans Divided Over Champions League Exit
Tottenham supporters are having a right go at their team following what appears to be a damaging Champions League performance, with some blaming the goalkeeper and lamenting the loss of Hugo Lloris, whilst others crack jokes about it being typical Spurs behaviour in European competition. The mood is mixed between frustration at the result and dark humour about their European struggles, though there's little consensus on whether they can turn it around in the second leg.
Spurs Fans Absolutely Fuming Over Dire Performance
Tottenham supporters are absolutely livid about their team's shambolic display, with fans hammering them for being completely shit and lacking any sort of quality across the pitch. There's genuine frustration that they're conceding needlessly through sloppy play and poor discipline, though a couple of calmer voices reckon they weren't actually that bad once the chaos died down.
Spurs Catch Heat for Completely Unbothered Response
Fans are taking the absolute piss out of Tottenham's official account for posting something so tone-deaf or embarrassing that the whole lot of them can barely contain their laughter. It's clearly some moment that's gone viral for all the wrong reasons, with supporters from rival clubs joining in on the banter.
Spurs' Europa League Win Sparks Rival Banter
Fans are having a right go at Spurs over their Europa League trophy win, with rival supporters using it as ammunition for the piss-take rather than genuinely celebrating European football. There's loads of back-and-forth between different club fans arguing about who's got bragging rights, though the overall vibe is more sarcastic wind-up than proper football discussion.
Spurs Fans Absolutely Fed Up With Club
Across 63 posts, Tottenham supporters are absolutely tearing into the club's performance and general direction, with fans expressing genuine frustration and dismissing them as a mediocre outfit that's failed to deliver on their ambitions. The negativity is relentless, with particular jabs at how the club's announcement about a Champions League mug discount only amplifies the disconnect between what fans expect and what they're actually getting on the pitch.
Spurs Fans Demand Championship Drop After Poor Form
Tottenham supporters are hammering the club's recent performance by sarcastically suggesting they should be relegated to the Championship, with fans taking the piss out of their inability to win matches and their embarrassing results. It's basically a wave of frustrated banter aimed at the team's dire league form, with fans using dark humour to express their exasperation at Spurs' inability to compete at Premier League level.
Spurs Fans React To Goals In Tie
Controversial
Fans are discussing a Spurs match where goals have been scored, with reactions ranging from excitement about getting back into the tie to scepticism about whether the goals will actually make a difference to the overall result. The conversation's neutral sentiment reflects a mix of optimism and resignation, with some fans questioning whether they can realistically overcome the deficit.
Injury Chaos Overshadows Heavy Defeat
Emerging
Fans are absolutely fuming about a disastrous performance that saw the team lose heavily, but the real concern dominating discussion is two potentially serious head injuries after Romero and Palhinha collided challenging for the ball near the end of the match. There's genuine worry about missing both centre-halves for upcoming fixtures, with frustration directed at the players' reckless behaviour during what was already a thoroughly embarrassing result.
Spurs Fans in Stitches Over Recent Disaster
Tottenham supporters are having a right laugh at their club's latest mishap, with the discussion absolutely rammed with laughter and mockery about another poor result or performance. It's the kind of gallows humour you get when fans are simultaneously furious and resigned to disappointment, finding it hilarious that they can't be surprised anymore.
Vicario Debate Reignites After Goalkeeper Performance
Spurs fans are divided over goalkeeper Vicario's display, with some defending him against recent criticism whilst others argue the club should have signed a replacement in January. The discussion reflects broader frustration about the team's performance, with fans questioning managerial decisions and debating whether the keeper is good enough for a top side.
VAR Controversy Over Missed Red Card Decision
Fans are absolutely fuming about a dangerous challenge that should've been a straight red card but went unpunished, with particular frustration directed at VAR for failing to intervene whilst apparently happy to stick its nose in everywhere else. There's also widespread criticism of diving and poor refereeing throughout the match, leaving supporters genuinely baffled at the inconsistency of it all.
Spurs Fans Express Absolute Fury at Team
Tottenham supporters are absolutely fuming with the squad's performance, with 56 posts laying into the players as useless and pathetic across the board. The negativity is absolutely relentless here — honestly, you'd struggle to find a single positive comment, which tells you everything you need to know about how badly things have gone on the pitch.
Fan Frustration Over Player's Costly Mistakes
Fans are absolutely fuming with a player who's made critical errors that've cost the team dearly, with most arguing he's got no right to expect sympathy or acknowledgement given the consequences of his cock-ups. There's genuine anger about the situation, though a few sensible voices are pointing out nobody really knows the full story or whether he's actually to blame.
Vicario and Kinsky Debate After Champions League Disaster
Fans are torn between criticising Vicario's overall performances this season whilst simultaneously arguing that throwing young backup keeper Kinsky into a crucial Champions League knockout match against Atletico Madrid was reckless management. The consensus seems to be that both keepers have serious limitations, but the manager deserves blame for setting Kinsky up for failure rather than sticking with the experienced option in such a high-pressure fixture.
Spurs Fans in Despair Over Team Collapse
Tottenham supporters are absolutely gutted by their team's dreadful performances, with fans expressing genuine distress and questioning whether they can continue supporting the club as results have become utterly unbearable. The overwhelmingly negative sentiment shows long-suffering Spurs fans at their wit's end, convinced the club is finished and struggling to cope with the emotional toll of watching their side play such poor football.
Spurs Fans Assess Impossible Second Leg Deficit
Tottenham supporters are overwhelmingly pessimistic about their chances in the second leg after a heavy first-leg defeat, with most reckoning they'd need an unrealistic four-goal turnaround at home to progress. There's a mix of resignation and desperate hope, though the general consensus is that the tie is effectively done and dusted, regardless of home advantage.
Spurs Fans React With Chaotic Humour
Tottenham supporters are having a proper laugh at their club's official account with a chaotic mix of reactions—fire emojis, laughing faces, and clown emojis all flying about. The whole thing's got that vibe of fans not quite knowing whether to cry or take the piss, so they've just done both at once.
Spurs Fans Demand Vinai And Lange Removal
Tottenham supporters are absolutely fuming with the club's hierarchy, specifically targeting Vinai Desai and Matteo Scamacca's recruitment chief Lange for what they see as incompetent decision-making that's destroying the club. The discourse is brutally negative, with fans questioning whether the board could possibly be any worse and calling for both men to leave immediately.
Arsenal's Dominant Win Sparks Spurs Rivalry Banter
Arsenal fans are revelling in their impressive 4-0 victory over Atletico Madrid and using it as ammunition to wind up Spurs supporters, with the discussion centring on the stark contrast in effort and quality between the two clubs. There's a fair bit of back-and-forth banter between the fanbases, though notably some Spurs supporters are even admitting Arsenal's players show more commitment, which tells you something about the state of things at Tottenham right now.
Spurs Slammed for Conceding Four First-Half Goals
Fans are absolutely fuming with Tottenham's defending after they shipped four goals in the first half, with supporters expressing their frustration through a mix of criticism, disbelief, and sarcasm about the dire defensive performance. The overwhelmingly negative reaction captures how embarrassing the collapse was, though the overall sentiment remains fairly neutral rather than heated — almost like fans are too shocked to properly have a go at the team.
Spurs Fans Absolutely Fuming Over Disastrous Display
Tottenham supporters are completely livid about their team's performance, with fans repeatedly calling it embarrassing and a complete disaster—some are so disgusted they've turned off mid-match. The sheer negativity and repetition of the word "embarrassment" across the thread shows just how badly this performance has wound up the fanbase, with supporters genuinely questioning whether the club is worth watching at all.
Systemic Club Dysfunction Blamed For Disastrous Season
Fans are absolutely fuming about what they see as catastrophic mismanagement across every level of the club—from the board and ownership down to managerial appointments, transfer strategy, and injury handling—with multiple former managers apparently all pointing to the same systemic problems that nobody in charge seems willing to actually fix. There's real frustration that despite spending money and making changes, the fundamental issues remain broken because the people responsible for decision-making simply won't acknowledge what's gone wrong or take responsibility.
Spurs' Catastrophic Performance Becomes the Joke
Controversial
Tottenham fans are having a dark laugh about their side's absolutely abysmal performance—going three nil down after just 23 minutes—with supporters joking that supporting Spurs is basically a comedy act at this point. It's that kind of gallows humour you resort to when things are so bad on the pitch that all you can do is take the mickey out of your own club.
Tottenham Fans Demand Club Delete Embarrassing Post
Spurs supporters are absolutely fuming with the club's social media team over some post, demanding they take it down immediately — though they're so wound up they're also taking the piss by telling the official account to delete the entire club and its owners while they're at it. It's proper toxic stuff, mate; clearly something's gone catastrophically wrong on the pitch and the fans are at their absolute wit's end.
Spurs Fans React with Mixed Emotions
Tottenham supporters are having a right laugh at the club's expense with a mixed bag of reactions ranging from resignation to frustrated humour. It's the sort of thing you see when the lads have put in a performance that's left fans somewhere between amused and absolutely gutted.
Fans Rue Thomas Frank's Departure as Replacement Flops
Supporters are deeply regretting the decision to sack Thomas Frank, arguing he'd have kept them up through draws and solid management despite his obvious limitations earlier in the season. The consensus is that while Frank wasn't good enough, the replacement has been an absolute disaster and they've ended up in the worst possible scenario by sacking him mid-campaign without a decent replacement lined up.
Spurs Fans Demand Forfeit After Refereeing Disaster
Spurs supporters are so disgusted with the referee's decisions in what appears to be a European tie that they're sarcastically (and sometimes seriously) calling for the club to just forfeit the second leg rather than bother playing it. The sentiment is basically "we're done, the match is already lost anyway, so why waste everyone's time?"
Spurs Fans Demand Players Leave the Pitch
Tottenham supporters are absolutely fuming with the team's performance and are sarcastically telling the lads to pack it in and head home rather than continue playing. It's proper brutal stuff — the fans have clearly had enough and want them off the pitch, with some genuinely suggesting they don't even bother coming out for the second half.
Spurs Fans Torn Over Second Half Prospects
Spurs supporters are deeply divided about their team's chances of turning things around after a poor first half, with some fans so disillusioned they're joking the lads shouldn't even bother returning to the pitch, whilst others are clinging to hope that tactical adjustments and renewed composure could salvage the match. The overall mood is one of anxiety and frustration rather than outright resignation, showing fans are still invested but genuinely worried about what's coming next.
Spurs Fans Back Team After Strong Performance
Controversial
Tottenham supporters are buzzing after what looks like a convincing win, with fans dishing out praise for the lads' display and urging them to keep the momentum going. There's genuine optimism in the air, though you can sense a bit of that classic Spurs fan cautious hope—celebrating the result whilst wondering if they can maintain it going forward.
Spurs Fans Call for Complete Club Dissolution
Tottenham supporters are absolutely fuming and demanding radical action, with many sarcastically calling for the club to be liquidated entirely due to catastrophic mismanagement from ownership and the board. The overwhelming consensus is that a complete restructure—or even dissolution—is needed because the current setup has driven the club into one of its darkest periods.
Spurs Fans Furious Over Shambolic Display
Tottenham supporters are absolutely livid after a disastrous performance that saw the side concede five goals, with fans slamming the display as unprofessional and embarrassing across the board. To make matters worse, the club also suffered injuries to key players ahead of the crucial Liverpool fixture, compounding what's already been a proper nightmare of a result.

@SpursOfficial Refund every single travelling away fan for that first-half display alone, before they are even put through another 45 minutes.

Crazy decision to play him today. Immense pressure for a lad with minimal minutes at top level. No justifying those mistakes but this wasn’t the game to start him
▲ 205
You have to feel for him. He was terrible, but was also thrown into an absolutly dysfunctional team in one of the toughest away grounds in Europe. We're grasping at straws so hard we're ruining careers.
▲ 176
I don’t think his head was in it anymore. It was a correct decision to take him off for our own sake. Not even mentioning Vicario should’ve started. Kinsky is inexperienced and young.

The time for Redknapp or Mason was before Tudor. Still would be a good switch, but hopefully not too late. It’ll be a disgrace if Tudor gets another game.

And that's down to the board and the football dep. they should have sold the club instead of being losers running a business. Levy put us in this position by not selling.
I mean look at Spence, he was a victim of English commentators pushing him up. He has never really been good. We havnt signed any decent players. Let's be honest Micky is not the best defender just fast "

Captivating Quotes
Straight From the Fans
The best fan quotes from this match — the funny, the sharp, the viral. These are ready to use in your video, in subtitles, or as thumbnails.
"On one hand I have very serious concerns about our ability to stay up with this level of defensive setup from Tudor. On the other hand I have even more concerns about the club's ability to actually hire a good replacement instead of bringing back Mason or some shit. On that basis I am willing to let Tudor stay for now and hope that weaker domestic opposition and players coming back from injury help us stay up in the end"
"More concerned about Romero and JP missing the Liverpool match than anything else, so fucking frustrated"
"They will miss it for sure. "
"3 gifts and a fourth cheated goal after the dive from Alvarez. We are still horse poop dont get me wrong"
"Well I feel like an idiot for thinking it was good idea to start Kinsky. Shit showing from him. Feel for him on a personal level but terrible performance from him again. Last two appearances (Newcastle in league cup) he’s been terrible, even with Vic’s decline, Vic is way better.
The slipping was annoying as fuck and also the dive to get their free kick annoyed me. Was impressed by Archie, Dom and Porro. Gallagher was alright when he came on too. Impressed at the players mentality to try and get themselves back into the game.
In typical spurs fashion get 2 concussed players and a players career incinerated in one game.
Tudor can’t be the guy to put their arm around the players and raise them for this relegation scrap. Think we need Mason to come in. "
"Not sure how to explain it properly but despite sucking, this loss didn't feel horrendous to watch because a couple of the goals were gifted by their pre-sabotaged pitch. Compare that to other losses which suck and also feel horrendous."
"Didn’t expect a ton seeing as this is Tudor’s first foray with a somewhat fit squad. One can only hope that this is a more significant benchmark than the first 2 games to grow from and learn his style more. Kinsky proved me right. Not optimistic coming out of this and still not feeling any doom and gloom of relegation chatter. Get Destiny, Kudus, and Bergvall back and I think there’s a fighting chance for them to finish better than things have gone. COYS"
"Spence Man of the Match for showing what our club is about by going over to Tudor, tapping him on the shoulder and forcing him to shake hands on the way out.
Fuck that dude and the board who brought him in. Absolute disaster of a choice to hire."
"I mean, what can you say?
We are more down than any PL side has ever been down bar that biblical Derby side.
When you have a player who gets a chance in a no hope side who need a stroke of luck, and you're at fault for 3 goals in 15 minutes, you may as well fold the club
gg guys"
"Ok I’m gonna say it, probably one of our better performances recently. Scored two goals from open play…"

"He made mistakes, but he is one of us. Gotta feel bad for him, he doesn't deserve this."
Starting your backup keeper for the first time in ages in a champions league knockout match is actual insanity. Not sure what Tudor expected
He won’t be one of us for long lol
He deserves some criticism of course for a truly historically awful performance. But Tudor is the one who should receive the blame in the first place for giving him his first minutes in forever in a CL tie. I feel bad for him that he was put in that position in the first place.
Well he does, what? He finally got a chance to play and had the worst keeper performance of all time. You can feel bad but he made his bed and the fans suffer.
↳
He slipped on a terrible pitch like almost every player out there tonight. And made a mistake with one kick. He was immediately pulled with no chance to make any kinds of amends. I don't think that's 'the worst keeper performance of all time'.
↳
Brother when's the last time he played? Tudor put him in, in a UEFA Champions League knockout game, why would you introduce him now when he's barely played? Why didn't he get game time before a *UEFA Champions League Knockout Game*?
↳
Thank you. People forget he sucked dick too
↳
I agree, what an embarrassment. He couldn't even kick a ball. I've had enough of this. I don't get all the 'we got to feel for him'. No we don't, we expect you to do your job. Shambles, its a total shambles.
I'm sick and tired of seeing Spurs play shit. It just gets worse and worse.
↳
Yeah he's suffering infinitely more than you are kid.
↳
Mate, I guarantee you he suffers too (a lot). And he barely even played this season, how do you expect him to do miracles? What I mean is that I (and many others) wanted him to play and probably expected some mistakes or nervousness, but not to this extent.
Also, I don't like seeing our players receive abuse. Banter and anger at the moment are okay, but it's been two seasons straight of abuse directed at someone.
"Just remember that our board said that they wanted to compete for the Premier League and the Champions League. This same board allowed Thomas Frank to keep his job after losing to West Ham, sold Brenn"
"Just remember that our board said that they wanted to compete for the Premier League and the Champions League. This same board allowed Thomas Frank to keep his job after losing to West Ham, sold Brenn"
Thank goodness they didn’t panic in January
Same people who are responsible for getting us out of this mess.
AHAHAHAH just fucking kill me.
Seems a bit unfair.
I don't think they are lying to you. They just don't have any understanding of football, or this club. So i guess you don't listen to them, but its not deliberate.
They are just shit and wholly unsuited to this club. This is what the new owners want the club to be.
Let me tell you something unpopular.. Ange was absolutely the right choice for Tottenham!
We took a risk. On a manager who played all out attack. Cared about the culture and history of the club he was at. Went all in and believed he could win things.
Yeah he didn't work out, he was found to be tactically lacking for Prem level - but Levy got crucified for hiring him, yet i think he was almost certainly the most 'Spurs history' respecting manager in the world at that time, and he'd earned his shot at the big game.
You watch what these silly rich cunts turn this club into. They have no idea what it was, what fans expect it to be.. and they don't care.
↳
They aren't new owners. Lets not get bamboozled by the PR job the Lewis family (ENIC) have been running.
Kudus was all the team had to show offensively so no kidding we’ve been utter shit in his absence.
Should have known to never trust them after we learned the cheese room was a lie
Frank was clearly the wrong man and it was evident half way through but whatever he was, he would have kept Tottenham up. Somehow some way, we’d have scraped enough draws and maybe a win to stay up and reset in the summer. Should have just gutted it out till the end of the season and reset but this is far worse and far more humiliating
↳
We were not picking up enough points under him either. Don’t kid yourself
↳
We would have lost against Arsenal and Fulham with Frank, that’s a guarantee. They both embarrassed us in our first meetings this season.
Palace, maybe. But we were playing even worse under Frank than we saw today (many more mistakes today though), so I doubt we’d have gotten anything from that match either.
It was pretty clear for months that Frank was in over his head and had no idea what to do.
↳
Theres not a point in the season where we played as bad as this under Frank as we have in the last four games. He would have somehow gotten 6-8 maybe even 10 points and that would have been enough. Either sack him halfway through the season or gut it out and they did neither. He knows the league and would have done something. This was the worst case scenario
"Crazy decision to play him today. Immense pressure for a lad with minimal minutes at top level. No justifying those mistakes but this wasn’t the game to start him"
"Crazy decision to play him today. Immense pressure for a lad with minimal minutes at top level. No justifying those mistakes but this wasn’t the game to start him"
I'm not saying you're wrong but at the moment PL points are way more valuable than CL surely? So this is the game where you can give minutes without risking losing a PL game. No one slips on purpose, no one could have seen that kind of start coming, we just truly are a bit cursed at the moment.
It’s top level professional football.. gutted for him but he has to be ready if he wants to play at this level
Lol. ridiculous comment
↳
Bro people play to many Vidya, stats say he's good with feet so should be good with feet. He's young as fuck for a keeper. Terrible decision to play him tonight with no run of games. Relegation battle ongoing so you can't give him games. Stuck with Vic - GK to me is not the position you try some wild shit. Upside was limited, downside was, much much greater
↳
Kinsky has played in Europe before
↳
Not after such a long spell on the bench with the team in a huge crisis.
↳
Sure and Metropolitano isn't an easy place, but let's not pretend he is some complete rookie.
↳
He's not but if we want a team to succeed, gambling on the mentality of a young keeper who hasn't had minutes in a high stakes game while the club is going through a crisis isn't what I would have chosen to do. Vic isn't a world class keeper but he's a known entity.
↳
CL is not high stakes though, if he did this vs Palace then yes that would be the wrong play. This was a way for Tudor to get a low stakes look at the kid, he did not show up today.
↳
😂
"Apparently we will get Dyche"
"Apparently we will get Dyche"
A manager signing id actually welcome
I feel like we should have gone for Dyche before Tudor. We thought we were too good for him though clearly, and went for the 'fancier' Croatian Dyche, when maybe someone who knew the league might have been a better option.
These players clearly have no respect for Tudor, he's always shouting at them and they never react with any urgency. The last coach they had respect for was Ange and that was ages ago. Hopefully Dyche can knock some sense into them
Cool, relegation it is for us.
If we compound our mistake of hiring Thomas Frank, an ultra defensive, hoofball manager.
Into Igor Tudor, another ultra defensive, hoofball manager.
Just to hire a fucking THIRD ultra defensive, hoofball manager, i'll fucking lose it.
We dont have a fucking squad to play this shitty style of football.
Bringing in Dyche when Mason, Harry or Sherwood are right fucking there is fucking insanity.
↳
> We dont have a fucking squad to play this shitty style of football.
We don't have the squad to play well full stop
↳
Is Tudor a defensive manager? From what I’m seeing it’s just carnage. The wing backs completely out of position and they all just press like maniacs leaving space behind them.
↳
It’s not that I don’t think, it’s that dyche is a famous relegation avoider manager. That’s what we need to get us out of this.
↳
Hopefully the club don't just base decisions on myths
↳
Dyche. Is this where we at? Idk why but I feel Tudor is still preferable over Sean Dyche.
↳
Where we are at is staring the Championship squarely in the face. Forget CL, Europe and PL. This is exactly where we are at, shit or bust. I wouldn't want him in any other moment, but right now something njas to change or we free wheel down. Six straight losses - beggers belief
"We gave away 3 complete gifts and lost by 3 goals. I know it sounds stupid when you concede 5 and lose, but this result is incredibly frustrating more than anything else. Some actual positive play at "
"We gave away 3 complete gifts and lost by 3 goals. I know it sounds stupid when you concede 5 and lose, but this result is incredibly frustrating more than anything else. Some actual positive play at "
What I’m saying. In theory we would’ve been down 1 goal and never known what would’ve happened if Kinsky never started
More than that. They were wide open and there for the taking. On a better day we'd have crushed them.
There is a glint of hope in this match, but Tudor has to be sacked. There has to be a manager who can lift the players, rather than one who wants to kick them in the nuts, spit on them on the floor, then blame them for not catching the keys you throw at them.
Damn it, did RKM have the number of that defence on the break. A decent manager would have put his pace and strength through against them again and again, because they pushed up and couldn't handle it when he drove past them, but he had one and maybe two chances like that the whole 1st half.
I think it says something when we’re the ones always giving away gifts and not on the other end of them.
↳
We were on the other end of one
Even in a game that didn’t matter and that we were expected to lose, the club managed to pile more humiliation on itself and also to lose two more players for concussion protocol (would affect Romero and Palhinha for both Liverpool and Forest).
We are truly dedicated to the art of the fucking abysmal.
well their fourth goal came from a dive so there's that
On Another night, we don’t slip, a couple of chances go our way, and we come away with a 3-1 win.
But unfortunately, close only works for grenades
To be fair Atletico took the foot off the gas after 4th, hard to tell what it would be like if that doesn't happen. In the end it's another drubbing that will tank the morale even further, nothing positive to take from that.
Must take into consideration that a team leading 4-0 is going to change their game a bit.
If that game is tied at the half, we're seeing a different approach from Atletico than in this game.
I mean they gifted us the last goal too

Of course not, he was terrible. But you can still feel for him on a human level and acknowledge that the club did not put him in a position where he was likely to succeed.
He doesn't deserve to have his career ruined over this, but he likely will.

But they signed Gallagher. Who is giggling and laughing with his old teammates as Tottenham burns down
Proper leadership signing!

Why is everyone meat riding him. Last time he played he wasn’t good. Vic has played like shit too but this guy isn’t the savior

Is this the worst appearance in Spurs history? Hard to imagine anyone having a worse 15’. Utterly embarrassing. Not completely his fault, but has ZERO composure.

The time for Redknapp or Mason was before Tudor. Still would be a good switch, but hopefully not too late. It’ll be a disgrace if Tudor gets another game.

There is still another leg. You play to minimize damage now. I feel horrible for Kinsky, but it’s still a professional football club. You support him now in the best way you can.

Look at what Carrick instantly did with United. SOMEONE can get a tune out of this bunch

None of that excuses two horrendous mistakes wheb there was no pressure at all. I feel for him but this is of his own making.

Annoying. Romero and Richie get their headers on target and it’s 4-4 and we go into the weekend foaming at the mouth.
But close only counts for grenades
