% share of Tottenham conversation

Each bar = % of all 400,924 TOT-fixture posts that mention a term for that player. Stacks split by VADER sentiment of the post — so bar height tells you who drives conversation and the colour mix tells you whether that chatter skews praise or blame. Top 18 players shown.

Net sentiment per player

Net = % positive − % negative within each player's matched posts. Positive bars mean more praise than criticism; negative bars mean more criticism than praise. Only players with ≥1,000 mentions are used to crown the season's "most positive / most negative" KPIs, to avoid noise from small samples.

  • MW12+0.99Edit: the amount of people who got ragebaited is hilarious, obviously i know he means xavi simmons 😂😂😂😂 Imagine comparing barca xavi to eze you fool, where's eze UCL and sextuple, best midfielder oat and you comparing him to eze?? Arsenal fans are so deluded 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  • MW9+0.98Kolo Muani has looked slick with touches he's had, held it up decently and played others in. Can't wait for Xavi to click with his team mates, the ideas are there, the chemistry is lacking atm, but it'll come good. Bentancur looking a little bit more like his old self, more positive, drawing tackles and holding the ball well to release forward more. He's slick when he's on it. Micky is Micky, how can you lot love th…

  • MW12-0.99From top to bottom we are fucked. 7 defenders and they can't defend the box, just have it chipped over them. He set us up to fail, then backpedalled when it didn't work. The players did literally nothing good apart from the stupid Richie wonder goal. After that there was a moment we could've done something but same old shit, every chance ends in a dog shit cross, losing the ball or passing backwards Spence w…
  • MW32-0.98We had like 3-4 real chances and Richy wasn't simply on his day , but the moment he was subbed out , We basically stopped looking dangerous Solanke was useless and RKM position was weird rather play Tel there , And Xavi on the bench is crime , Bergball walking while Gallagher was chasing the cunt who scored pissed me off so Bad ...
  • MW8-0.98Shit day all round. Shit line up, shit substitutions, shit individual performances (looking at you Xavi), shit home support, shit mentality, shit luck for Romero’s injury and Danso’s slip. Real fuckin bad day at the office for our entire club on and off the pitch. Disgusted.

Wilson Odobert — fans' favourite

  • MW20+0.99Good first half against one of the best defenses in the league. Perhaps some decision-making could be better but overall a good performance. Porro looks so much better today defensively and Ben Davies has actually looked quite good at LB. Richy has been leading the line well. Love the hustle and directness from Odobert and Tel today. Midfield has been very calm and composed and defense has been good.
  • MW20+0.98I try to be supportive of the frank era, but frankly enough... im so done. yes, there's improvements, but taking out our best attacking player (odobert) when he wasn't even showing any signs of slowing down yet?? what was the point?! betancur and palinha midfield duo prove to be great defensively but near to no attacking threat... richie did his best but after 90mins he was clearly winded. oh my oh my... if frank ge…
  • MW3+0.98Shoutouts to Vicario, Micky and Bergvall today! Kudus & Palhinha really off of it, but really encouraging signs from Tel and Odobert in my opinion! Could've been a better result but as I've seen the past two weeks Bournemouth are no push over like they were a few years ago soooo I won't let it bother me too much this weekend. It's not the end of the world thank God, I see positive things through Frank still. And h…

  • MW20-0.98Disgustingly fucking pathetic from the manager. Taking off Odobert and Gray and therefore surrendering the ENTIRE midfield is fucking disgraceful. Cowardly cunt shit. If you do that then you HAVE to bring on Danso and just say fuck it we won’t have the middle and all we’re going to do is defend the box. Fucking useless clown CUNT manager. Sack him now. Dear fucking god sack him NOW
  • MW3-0.97It was a rough watch but come on, it was our new manager’s 4th competitive game with our club. He got the lineup wrong and was cursed with bad Richy and bad Brennan in the same game. Which just happened to be a game with no Solanke on the bench. Start with odobert and bergvall and I imagine it would have looked very different. Maybe not a win, but certainly a competent performance. Acting like this is any of those p…
  • MW25-0.96Frank could have just dropped Palinha to CB but no, he’s adamant on this negative football. Killed our attack with Odobert out.

  • MW7+0.98Saw the line up and wondered where we would find goals, great for Tel and Kudus to both get their first. Not an easy match and Vicario with another questionable play to ship the goal but otherwise another pretty solid display defensively. Hope to see more Kudus cutting inside and finding the back of the net just like Mbuemo was so good at for Brentford. Xavi looking better at the 10 but still seemed too hold the bal…
  • MW28+0.98I didn’t expect a draw here and at times it seems like they can’t get the absolute basics down but I want to focus on positives: 1. Tel needs to start. He looked quite impressive and creative when he came on.  2. Souza injected a lot of energy and creativity when he came on, brilliant play.  3. Vicario gets a lot of hate but he kept us in the game 4. Forest + West Ham lost as well

  • MW11-0.98What the fuck are we seriously doing???????!!!!! So fucking pathetic Fuming, absolutely fuming Vicario so fucking shit and weak at corners costing us again
  • MW29-0.98WHY THE FUCK IS VICARIO IN THE STICKS WHY THE FUCK IS THAT DONKEY BETWEEN THE STICKS WE ARE GOING TO LOSE ANYWAY WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH GIVING KINSKY SOME GAME TIME? WE LOSE BY 3-1 INSTEAD OF 2-1? FUCKIN HELL JUST LET HIM PLAY

Method & caveats

Read this before interpreting the numbers.

Source: output/raw/EPL/*/TOT*/merged.json — posts and their replies flattened together. Reddit + YouTube only (no X/Twitter for these fixtures).

Matching: for each player tagged current_team: "TOT" in players.json we build a term set from lastname + every aka. Texts and terms are both accent-stripped before a case-insensitive word-boundary regex match — so Drăgușin matches dragusin, Vušković matches vuskovic, etc.

Double counting: a post that mentions two players ("Kudus to Tel") increments both. That's intentional — it reflects real share of mind.

Short aliases: pape, tel, vic, dj, dom etc. come straight from the taxonomy. Word boundaries keep most false positives at bay, but Xavi Simons (transfer-rumour player listed as TOT) and players with generic first-name akas will pick up some cross-team noise. Take the top-of-table bar at face value; the rest of the ordering is robust.
